INTRODUCTION
Organisational behaviour can be characterised as an in-depth study and understanding of the
individual behaviour within a workplace setting. The respective concept highlights upon the
culture, values, beliefs, policies promoted by a business enterprise in order to regulate its
organisational environment in a prominent manner. Organisational behaviour is a managerial
component that impacts upon the attitude and actions exhibited by the staff members within a
business institution (Globocnik, Rauter and Baumgartner, 2020) . The proposed report will
reflect upon the organisational culture of Tesco by the application of Hofstede’s Model to the
same. In addition to that, the role of organisational culture in enhancement of the communication
and effectiveness within the employs will also be discussed in the concerned report. It also
highlights the role and impact of organisational culture upon the motivation of organisational
members. Also, the ways in which business firms capitalises upon culture in order to elevate
their success in the given industry is also assessed in the concerned report.
Identify its culture in line with a theoretical model
Organisational culture is an enormously powerful component that can be several effects upon the
productivity, efficiency, profitability, morale and satisfaction of employees, market share and
position as well as image of the firm within the business environment. The leaders as well as
managers of the business firms are required to establish a culture that is effective in enhancing
the work attitude, relationships, communication, cooperation and compatibility within the
business firm (Day and Patel, 2021). The Hofstede’s Model has been taken into considerations so
as to demonstrate a clear understanding about the organisational culture of Tesco:-

The Hofstede’s model can be determined as a managerial and cultural framework that helps the
business institutions to acquire insights about the diversity and difference among the beliefs,
values and norms of work attitudes. The major objective behind the application of Hofstede’s
model is to ascertain the cultural agendas and policies opted by business firms across the globe.
The concerned model also provides various essential pointers through which organisational
