INTRODUCTIONThis present report is going to show different purpose and principles of different typesand forms of organizational communication. Different purpose and principles help the companyin achieving their main aim to facilitate interdepartmental cooperation within an organization.Application of different principles like clarity, completeness also help an organization toovercome all communicational barriers. Purpose and principles also work as an effective tool andways of measuring and overcoming al barriers such as feedback, attention. Further it will alsoevaluate different practices of communication of other and themselves which also support themin accomplishing their goals (Bovée, Thill and Raina, 2016). It has several practices and principlesof different forms and types of organizational communication like continuity, simplicity ofcommunication mode, response of the time also beneficial for the company.AssessmentLO 1 Purpose and principles of different forms of organizational communicationAim: To facilitate interdepartmental cooperation within an organization.Organisational communication can be defined as a process of exchanging of information’sbetween different departments and among people of the company. There are different types andforms of organizational communication like formal, informal. On the basis of direction itincludes upward, downward and horizontal. Formal communication includes meeting,conference, telephone calls etc. The main aim of this report is to facilitate interdepartmentalcooperation within an organization. This company has to face various problems and barriers inthe process of communication such as technological, culture, attitude and behaviour barrier.According to the (Lewis, 2019) Different forms of organizational communication have severalpurpose and principles which put pressure to the company to make communication effective. Aneffective and different forms of communication make all people of the company able to interactand share their views. The main purpose of organizational communication is to clearly definecompany’s internal and external identity and make employees understand about all rules andresponsibilities.In addition to (Luhmann, 2018) states that an effective communication for the company improvescoordination among employees. Coordination helps them in solving and decreasing barrierswhich occurs in the path of their success.3
