INTRODUCTION
The Business Communication is a process which is used to share information with the
people . Effective communication helps an individual to express their views and opinion clearly
and appropriately. A person becomes goal oriented and result oriented if they have clear
thought and information related to the work. The main objective of effective communication is to
improve the work performance and ensure quality of work within the organisation. The
information shared in the organisation is vital and helps in communicating and directing the
employees to achieve the organisational goal. The effective communication system is required to
create goodwill and brand value in the market (Bolten, 2020). The report will analyse the
theories of organisational communication and barriers to make effective communication .
Further, the report will explain the barriers that prevents an individual from booking holidays
abroad and what are the strategies that helps the travel agency to overcome these challenges.
TASK
Theories of organisational communication
The theories of communication plays significant role to bring transparency in the
working system. It helps an individual to cooperate the business activities and achieve the
organisational goal. The theories of communication reduce the chance of confusion and
misunderstanding within the organisation. Effective communication defines the roles and
responsibilities of each members within the organisation. It provides techniques and ways to deal
with the customer to address their problems. In the organisation, several communication has
been taken place including verbal and non verbal , formal and informal within the organisation.
There are seven principles of effective communication that are based on 7's C includes clarity,
correctness, conciseness, consideration , concreteness , courtesy and completeness (Cypher,
2019). All these 7C are used to assemble all the task of the organisation as it helps the employees
to perform accordingly to implement the plans and policies .
It includes some general theories related to organisational communication are mentioned below:

organisation (Elwyn, Cochran and Pignone, 2017). This theory defines the power of
authority to give command to their subordinate and achieve the possible outcomes from
the subordinates. The ideas delivererd by the employees are used to make decision to
actively participate in the progress of the organisation. Theory X and Theory Y: This theory is based on motivational theory propounded by the
McGregor to define the human nature within the organisation. Humans are considered as
the most important asset for the organisation in order to create and develop business
strategy to develop self control mechanism. This theory suggest the needs of the worker
that are prior most importance of the organisation to motivate and encourage them
towards an organisational goal. It motivates the employees to achieve the set target
through effective effective coordination of all the task between the people.

There are many barrier that prevent the people from booking holidays abroad due to rise in
the cases of pandemic. It is stressful for the people to live in the home because of rise in flights
fare and unexpected events etc. The rise in inflation due to pandemic creates challenges for the
