Task 1: Management theories
The Tannenbaum and Schmidt continuum illustrates the connection between a manager's decision
to grant liberty to staff and also the manager's amount of authority. A rise in team independence is
accompanied by a decline in management authority. The basic justification for the model's
introduction is that present classifications of leadership styles are overly comprehensive and that the
majority of organizational managers' leadership practices fall somewhere in the center. (Drew,
2021) Robert Tannenbaum and Warren Schmidt argued that leader conduct follows a spectrum, as
leaders are moving away from the authoritarian extreme, the level of follower consultation and
commitment in decision-making grows.
The Blake Mouton Managerial Grid was created by Robert Blake and Jane Mouton. They consider
that a manager's care towards workers and output might influence his or her style of leadership. The
management grid defines five major leadership styles, each of which is based on a unique
combination of care for the work and concern for people. (Prabhakaran, 2021)
The two theories provide a framework for managers to lead their organizations. They also clarify
the roles of the nonmanagers in the workshop and the various styles of leadership that can be
utilized. The leadership style that is most suited to the individual is defined by the leader's
personality qualities and values. This spectrum acknowledges that the optimal leadership style is
decided by the personality of the leader, beliefs, education, skill, and attitude of the workers. (Cram,
2019)
The managerial grid theory by Blake Mouton explained the various managerial
styles and their importance in decision-making. However, it did not explain the
difference between the boss-centered and the subordinate-centered theories.
Instead, it explained the importance of leaders' relationships with their
followers.

Dear Sir,
Greetings of the day,
The goal of this memo is to provide you with a list of the key external factors that may have an
impact on Tesla.
In Nepal, there are currently seven Tesla electric vehicles – four Model X and three Model 3. The
company has sold so few vehicles in Nepal, the result is in the price. In Nepal, the Tesla Model X
costs Rs 2.35-2.75 crores, while the Tesla Model 3 costs Rs 1.20-1.47 crore.
Politics is essential to the success of any business, but Nepal is politically unstable. The current
fiscal year's budget included a provision allowing anyone to import a vehicle of any brand for a
30% surcharge. Following a budget revision, the excise duty on electric vehicles is now based on
the vehicle's rated motor power rather than the battery size or power.
Regulation changes and a lack of a robust administration will have an influence on Tesla's normal
operations. Tesla is subject to a variety of government taxes systems. Per capita income in Nepal is
relatively low compared to other developed countries where Tesla has a strong brand image. Poor
economic conditions in Nepal can affect Tesla's sales.
Tesla profits from both people's environmentally friendly products and the growth of renewable
energy choices. Since Nepal is a developing country, when investing in emerging areas, the
company must proceed with precaution. Technologies, on the other hand, are always evolving. It
doesn't take long for a rival to catch up. The company supports growing environmental initiatives to
address concerns about climate change and resource management. Tesla can forecast growth in
Nepal by examining environmental conditions. which are becoming increasingly polluted. This
study is predicated on the validation provided in Appendix 3. Thank you for your time.

Task- 3: Organizational Culture and Technology
As the name implies, organizational culture is the culture inherent in the organization that defines
its internal environment and individual style. It represents a set of accepted and acquired behaviors
that are discussed and communicated to new employees on how to observe, think, and interact in
the workplace. Furthermore, it fosters a feeling of individuality and distinctiveness in personnel.
During times of organizational transition, culture may be both an aid and a burden. For instance, an
institution with a collaborative and adaptable culture may accept change, but a less flexible, more
fixed mindset may not. Managers must be mindful of this when directing their organizations
throughout times of transition.
For example, the organizational culture of Tesla, Inc. (formerly Tesla Motors, Inc.) develops the
human resource competency necessary for the development of innovative products in the global
automotive sector Tesla's organizational culture pushes its staff to search out optimal solutions that
help the firm distinguish out in the automotive, energy generation and storage, and information
technology industries. This company culture's attributes inspire employees to come up with
concepts and approaches. (Panmore institute, 2019)
Technology has a great impact on business operations. In each event of the estimate of your

ambiguity by basing their conclusions on facts and data
rather than intuition. This scientific technique aids in
forecasting the outcomes of decisions. Scientific
decisions can assist to create the correct objectives to
attain a goal and adjust them after review. (Study
Smarter, 2019) Data gathering is perhaps the most crucial
stage in scientific decision-making, and it may be accomplished in a variety of ways for a variety of
reasons.. Data can be gathered via doing research, conducting a conjoint analysis, utilizing existing
data, and so on. The scientific decision-making method benefits organizations in several ways,
including cost savings, unbiased decision-making, confident decision-making, and continuous
evaluation.
Bill Gates has a remarkable decision-making strategy. According to a blog post by Gates, whether
we invest $100,000 or $100 million, we usually make a reasoned judgment. He spends so much
time researching, analyzing facts, and consulting with professionals to determine if we can truly

INTUITIVE DECISION MAKING
When you are put in a position that you may have experienced
before, your mind instinctively stores the structures or
knowledge gained from the prior experience that serves as the
foundation of your judgment. Choosing according to your "gut
feeling" is an example of intuitive decision-making. It is not a
decision-making procedure based purely on sentiments.

earlier gathered data. Intuitions can assist you in making more
creative and effective decisions. You can improve your intuition and trust your gut to make even
better intuitive decisions.

Task5: Business proposal
The pet industry has grown to be one of Nepal's most profitable industries. Despite the pandemic,
the business has a pretty strong turnout since the desire for owning dogs has expanded in
Kathmandu valley. The cost of a puppy might range between 5000 and 300000 rupees depending on
the breed quality.
Therefore, my new SME concept is all about dogs. It will be referred to as 'Howlers' on online
platforms.
Company overview
Howlers is a pet store where you can find all kind of dog breeds. Rare breeds that are hardly
encountered in Nepal will be given more priority. Dog breeds such as Pitbulls, Australian
shepherds, and Akitas are uncommon in Nepal; these breeds would be directly imported from India,
China, and Thailand and housed at the farm for breeding purposes. The farm will be erected on two
ropanies land, with sufficient space for each dog. The sanitation and hygiene of both the farm and
the dogs will be maintained.
Market analysis
Howlers is aimed towards folks who are true pet enthusiasts who really desire a pet in their house.
Many people, usually VIPs, maintain rare breed dogs to display off at home; these people would
spend huge sums on a puppy they want to buy. We will deliver your furry friend all throughout
Nepal.
Products and services
Howlers deliver only purebred, high-quality pups to your house at a reasonable price. We also
provide other services such as pet grooming, training, and pet daycare. There are several payment
methods available, including bank deposit, esewa, khalti, and cash on delivery.
Marketing strategy
Social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok will be valuable in informing
buyers about the availability of the breeds I have. A website like hamrobazar would also be handy.
Word-of-mouth marketing will also help my company's marketing efforts.
Financing
The amount of money this business can make is determined by the quality of its dogs and the
number of litters it breeds each year. My dog may only have four litters per year, but these canines
sell for $1,500 apiece. If each litter had six dogs, the company's annual income would be $50,000.
