INTRODUCTION
An organisational theory refers to various tools and techniques used in an organisational
structure that dedicates its efforts towards delivering professionalism and proper coordination in
respective tasks being produced by various individuals working in the workforce. With light to the
fact that, not any specific or fixed theory or principle being adopted by the managers of the firm
could get the desired results to the business firm over the period of time (Banfield, Kay and Royles,
2018). Therefore, there is a need of regular alteration or modifications in respective principles and
theories being regulated in an organisational structure for completion of desired aims and
objectives of the business firm. In this present report, Deliveroo that is an online food delivery
company. The respective company majorly operates in England, UK origin and was founded by
William Shu in year 2013. Presented report will dedicate it attention towards evaluating and
analysing management styles and leadership approach to regulate effective working of the business
firm (Leong and Hazelton, 2019). With addition to that, this report will also includes change
management strategies implemented in the organisation as well as various motivational techniques
used by managers for keeping moral of various staff working in the company boosted. Lastly,
justification and effect of power, influence and conflict situations are being highlighted in this
document.
MAIN BODY
Management style and functions of management used by CEO of the retail firm
Management style refers to the method in which all activities being produced by each
individual staff working in the firm is being produced and being given direction towards completion
of desired goals and objectives of the workforce. Considering current business environment
wherein, managers and leaders of the business firm has not only to deal with dynamic business
environment but also have to deal with high intensity competition while operating in given
marketplace of the company. In regards to chosen company i.e. Deliveroo, Will Shu who is the
current CEO of the company, dedicates company's best resources of the firm in order to determine
suitable management style to be operated in the respective business firm (Lucas, 2019). By looking
at the current business situations and by evaluating trending needs and demands of various
individuals available in the given business market, CEO of the firm chooses Participative
management styles to regulate respective operational activities of the business firm.
