sets. One of the advantage of the functional structure is that it helps in collectively focusing the
energies of similar employees towards achieving the organisational goals. The organisation chart
is given below:
Thus, for a business to be successful it is important there is inter relation between the
various functions of the organisation (Bido‐Medina and et.al., 2018). that is marketing function
of the organisation must work in accordance with other business function so as ensure that the
marketing strategies formed are effectively implement by the employees recruited by the HRM.
It is beneficial as it will help the organization to grow while also a disadvantage as it might
happen the criteria of worker is different. On the other hand, finance department of Vaara needs

the inter relation between the various department can be beneficial as well as a limitation for the
company. Thus, the inter relation of various functional departments helps the organization in
increasing its efficiency and creativity. That is with inter relation between the various functions
there is higher level of coordination and communication between the departments (Topchiy and
Tokarskiy, 2018). This helps the organisation in generation of new ideas and increases the
creativity of the organisation which in deed leads the company towards success. However on the
other hand, the inter relation between the various functions department results in slow decision
making and there are chances there may be confusion among the functioning of the department.
This is a result of interrelationship which will affect the efficiency of the employees. Thus, it
may leads the company towards losses and reducing its productivity.
3.3 Impact of organizational structure
With the inculcation of a functional structure in the organisation, it can be evaluated that
it has a positive impact on the company (Stillman and Denny, 2019). That is it helps the
business in achieving higher operational efficiency that leads the company towards growth and
success. On the other hand, functional structure combines the employees with the same skill sets
which in turn results in increasing the operational speed of the organisation. Also, there is a
higher level of clarity among the several departments and there effective allocations of tasks and
responsibilities. This helps the Vaara in eliminating duplication of activity that used to increase
its cost of operations. One of the major impact of functional structure on the organisation is that
it leads a business towards specialization. Thus, with the specialization in different functional
department its helps the company in increasing its market positioning by providing higher level
of satisfaction to its customers. Therefore, the functional structure has a very significant impact
