1. Provide feedback on how it relates to you and your style.
The skill finder is a decision-based evaluation technique that identifies and highlights
various traits of an influencer. The evaluation process strengthened the understanding
of self, as an ‘Asserter’ and made me realize various quality features that I have and
few that can be practiced and developed. I have remained a bold and upfront person
while presenting my ideas and I manage to convince people on my ideology. I have
always been able to make way with different approaches. All these skill traits have a
proximity to the influential skills of an ‘Asserter’.
2. How might you use your style with organization management?
In an organization, there are people from different backgrounds in terms of culture and
viewpoint. The ability to work collaboratively, maintaining good and respectful synergy
amongst team members is an essential factor for succeeding in an organization. To
manage, perform, collaborate and deliver, it is essential to have clarity in ideas and
convincing power. Also, the performance is expected to be constant with continuous
efforts in delivering excellence. These factors are the quality attributes in an Assertive
style that helps in organizational management.
3. How does your style prepare you for operations strategy?
An assertive style has the character traits of clarity in purpose, which makes the
objectives and goals to be attained, sharp and focused. One can emphasize delivering
them with continuous efforts that are achieved through persistent approach for
excellence. Operations also need an open and bold personality, that helps make the fair
decisions and their implementation smooth. The operations strategy and planning also
require a very active mode of work, where energy levels are demanded to be higher.
Also, my style of an asserter not only helps me become persuasive, but also empowers
me with strength to overcome inter-personal challenges.
