Introduction
Organizational behavior is regarded as the study of the human behaviors into the organization
(McShane & Glinow, 2017). There are organizational issues such as corporate culture,
leadership, motivation and whistleblowing which are needed to be harnessed for enhancing the
efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. The assignment is based upon the behavioristic
framework of organizational behavior which considers the organizational behavior as in the case
of Boeing which is aerospace company of USA and Atlas Mara which is Bank of Zambia.
Theoretical Framework
Based on the behavioristic framework of the organizational behavior which explains that the
behavior of the employees on the basis of the interactions made with the environment and the
changes into the organizational internal forces (Miner, 2015). This can relate to the
organizational behavioral issues such as corporate culture, leadership, personality, perception
and whistleblowing mechanism which can bring efficiency and effectiveness into the case
companies Boeing and Atlas Mara.
Application of Framework
Application of theoretical framework of behavioristic approach which elaborates that the
corporate culture can affect the organizational behavior. It is regarded as the values, attitude and
the beliefs which can certainly influence the way employees behave and make interactions
within and outside the organization. Further, entrepreneurial orientation is treated as the strategic
level orientation which defines the strategy making process and the philosophy of the managers
which are entrepreneurial nature. Also, according to the theory, personality and perception of the
members of the organizations have direct influence on the effectiveness of the organization. This
can certainly affect the decisions and their respective towards the work (Dong, et al., 2017).
Further, leadership and motivation are the components which can affect the behavioral issues of
the organization which can harness the efficiency of the organization. Leadership is related to
providing the necessary support and guidance and direct their efforts towards the objective of the
organization. Motivation is regarded as the act of fulfilling the desires of the employees which
can certainly influence their performance (Lăzăroiu, 2015). Further, the concept of

whistleblowing is related with drawing attention towards the misconduct and unethical activity.
The whistleblowing mechanism are different in USA than in that of Zambia. In USA,
Whistleblower Protection Act governs the act of whistleblowing in the organization made in
federal law of United States. Besides, Zambia has been following the Public Disclosure Act
through which it empowers whistleblowers and the investigating authorities (Siwale, 2017).
Recommendations
Boeing and Atlas Mara are recommended to make the organizational culture in such a way that it
can support their rights and are motivated to perform better into the organization. This can
certainly create a positive working environment and can influence the behavior of the employees
which can lead to productivity of the company (McShane & Glinow, 2017).
Conclusion
Conclusively, this can be said that organizational behavior is related with the behavior and
interactions of the employees which should be harnessed for the efficiency and effectiveness into
the organization. Here, the assignment is based on theoretical framework of behavioristic theory
and applies the same to harness the organization issues to bring productivity in Boeing and Atlas
Mara.
