INTRODUCTION
This report throws light on factors influencing cultural, politics, etc. in an organization.
Also, it shows how content and process theories of motivation and motivational techniques.
The reports about analysing the cultural, politics and power factors which is affected for the
achieving organizational goals, individual and team behaviour of the employees and to explain
the content and process theories of motivation of the employees and explain the motivation
techniques for the achieving the organizational goals. There are different theories of motivation
to help the achievement of the organizational goals (Luthans, Luthans, and Luthans, 2015.). In
the reports explain that how to affected of various factors of the holding company. In the
motivation theories explain the employees needs, abilities, expectancies and equities for better
performance in the organization. These theories and factors developed employees skills,
knowledge, abilities and expectation for their career and also developed their behaviour and
attitude for achieving the organizational goals of individuals and team as well.

P 1 Analysis the factors influencing cultural, politics , individual power, team behaviour and
performance:
A W Holding company provides new equipment of motors and generators, workshop services
etc. AW Holding company provides different products such as pumps, motors, coils etc. (Pinder,
2014.)
Cultural factors: Culture means individual behaviour, attitude and skills. Cultural factors are
affecting of AW Holding company. There are different cultures affecting the individual
behaviour and team behaviour of the employees and owners in the AW Holding company. In
AW holding company, they are provided workshop services, new machinery of generators and
gearbox. There are several holding companies which is given different mechanical services.
They are giving advises accordant to their opinions, attitude and behaviour. Cultures may be
affected performance of employees in the company, because of every person do their work
according to the behaviour and skills. So that they can be done their work is different form others
employees. In the team, they can be done work accordant to their team members and team

leaders. Cultural factors also affected in relationship between employees and management,
Because both the behaviour, skills and attitudes are different. Some holding companies are
investment firm. Some cultural factors are good for the company of achievement and
development. Some cultural factors are bad for the company of better performance. Cultural
factors may be affected of leadership development and success of the company. Affecting of
cultural factors are the barriers of the profitability and development. Organizational values are
also effected from the cultural factors. Cultural factors are breaks the focus, attention and
decision of the company. Cultural factors breaks the rules, regulation and values of the AW
Holding company.
Politics factors: Politics factors means changing in government rules and regulation. Politics
factors are affecting the individual behaviour and team behaviour in the AW holding company.
In politics factors including technology changes, modification in policies, rules and regulation
related to financial services, tax policies and laws. Any restriction by government in financial
policies is the barrier of the companies. Some changes in rules and regulation are the good for
the company. , policies are regulated by the government, so that government has to power for
changes in policies. In AW holding companies, some policies are regulated by government for
customer focus activities.
Some changes in political environment are also affected of company. Modification of the
regulatory framework of the policies rules and regulations related to the company so that any
changes and modification in policies including politics factors. Government instability is also
politics factors which is affected for company. (Luthans, Luthans, and Luthans, 2015.) Giving
the services for the customers so that it is also the politics factors which is affected for the
holding companies. Provide a service of small businesses and households. Some changes and
innovation in polices are also politics factors. In AW Holding co., Innovation and new creativity
in the framework is to protected to their customers. Strict regulation by the government is
affected of the AW Holding company. In AW Holding company there are some government
regulations which are affected of the individual and team behaviour.
Politics factors including decreasing in productivity through leg pulling and back biting of the
employee in company. Through politics employees are fail to achieves targets. Employees plays
politics affected for the concentration in the work. Politics has affected to attitude, of the

employee in the company. Some employees are negative environment in the company. They can
be demotivated of their workers. If any employees better work in the organization so that another
employee was jealous to their work and performance so that they play politics for demotivate to
them. By play politics in the company employees are very stress in their mind. They can spoil
career of the employee through play politics.(Borkowski, 2015.)
If any case employee has to given wrong information for their work this is also politics. But this
type of situation is the negative affect of the employees mind. There is no help for any work
from supervisor and managers it is factor affected the employees works. Any politics plays in
company there is no value of hard work and better performance in the company. From play
politics it breaks relationship between the employees and owners and also breaks individual
behaviour and team behaviour in the company.

P 2 Content theories of Motivation : There are various theories in content theories of motivation.
Maslows Hierarchy of Need Theory : In this theory Maslows has included 5 needs of employees
for their motivation. Five needs includes physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem
needs and self actualization needs. Physiological, safety and social needs includes in deficiency
needs and esteem & self actualization includes in growth needs for the motivation of the
employees. In physiological needs people can fulfilment of basic requirements like food, shelter
and clothing. In safety needs includes health, security needs of people. In social needs includes
job security of employee. Esteem means self regulation for own achievement. Self actualization
means that self stronger, self motivate and fulfilment of own capacities. Managers are provided
all the needs of the employees for the motivation so that employees are very hard working in
their work and they can be help for achieve organizational goals. If mangers are proper motivate
of their employees so that they are working with the organization. Maslows needs theory is the
theory of fulfilment of employee needs for motivation of the employees and achievements of the
organizational goals. (Borkowski,, 2015.)
Theory X and Theory Y : In theory x of motivation refers those employees who are not like their
work. Managers are pushed them to work. They can avoid responsibility. They can only rest in
the company. In theory y of motivation refers those employees who are very happy with their

work. They can fulfil the all responsibility. They can be done hard work in the company for
better futures. They are creative and innovative in their work. In the theory x managers are
pushed their employees for their work so that theory x employees are not achieving
organizational goals as compare to theory y, because in the theory y employees are happily work
in the organization on their own capacities and abilities, so that through theory y managers are
more motivating their employees and easily achieving the organizational goals. (Pinder, 2014.)
Process theory of Motivation : There are various theories in process theory of motivation.
Equity theory of Motivation: In equity theory includes assessments of the individuals efforts in
their work in the organization. In this theory includes that how to maintain the current situation
in their work. In this theory managers has to motivate their employees for current situations so
that employees adopted strategies according to current situation for achieving organizational
goals. Employees and mangers both the adopted current situations and reduce the barriers of the
situations. In equity theory helps explains how to employee working condition and what type of
techniques adopted to their motivation. If the managers are always motivating their employee so
that they is easy for employees and managers of achieving organizational goals.
Expectancy theory of Motivation: In expectancy theory includes more efforts of motivation to
their better performance in the organization. Managers are giving the rewards according to their
performance and efforts in their work. Rewards can be done in the form of bonus, incentives,
salary etc. of the employee's better performance in the job. In the expectancy theory check the
expectation and efforts in their work and organization. If managers has to given the rewards of
their employees for their performance so that employees can be done happily work in the
organization and help in achieving organizational goals. In expectancy theory explain
relationship between individual's behaviour and their work for better performance in the
organization. This theory is developed employee's skills, abilities, knowledge and experience for
achieving organizational goals . So that managers are always motivated their employee for better
performance and for achieving organizational goals. (Borkowski,, 2015.)

P 3 Comparing effective team with ineffective team
There are various effective ways that the team was very powerful and best team in the
organization and company. But there are various ineffective ways that the team was very weak in
the company.
Effective team work improve quality of work and processes in the AW holding company. If the
company ensures that they have appointed a good leader in the company who has taught the
good styles of effective leadership for their employees so that employees are working the
effective team. If the employees and management both are supportive, coordinative and creative
so that these is easy for effective team work. Good communication is the important for the
effective team work in the AW holding company. Effective team work developed the abilities,
skills, knowledge and experience of the employees and the company. There are good relationship
between the employees and management it is important for the team work and company.
Effective team work helps to achieving the organizational goals.
Effective team work also helps for decision making in and difficult situation in the AW holding
company. Effective team work developed the individual's experience and behaviour.(Konopaske,
Ivancevich and Matteson, 2016) If the employees work in the team they can solve problem
quickly as compare to the individual employee because in the team many members are there, so
that every member has different thoughts, skills, knowledge and abilities for solve the problem in
the company. Employees are working in the team according to the customer's expectation and
customers satisfaction on the behalf of the AW holding company. If the company ensures that
they can mutually understand with the employees so that employees are suitable for the team
work . In effective team work employees are freely to sharing their thoughts and ideas in the
team. Good understanding, good communication and good leadership between the employees
makes effective team in the company.
Effective team work improves performance of the employees in the company. If there is no
politics between the team members so that it is also makes team work effectively. Better
coordination between the team members and time management by the employees are also makes

Matteson, 2016)There is imbalance relation between the team members so that it makes team
work ineffectively.
In the team poor coordination and lack of trust, understanding it is also makes the team
ineffectively. Employee has weak communication skills, knowledge and abilities so that the
company has provided good leader who has given the proper guidance and develop
communication skills for their employees to work in the team. In the team there are many
members whose has different skills, knowledge, abilities and values with each other so it is
difficult for the effective team work. The company policies, rules and procedures are not
understood for employees it is difficult for the company. In the team work everyone's
contribution in the work is the important of the team. Team means number of employees are
working with each other but in difficult situation there is no contribution of the team members
so that it is makes weak team and ineffective team. Unity is the most important for the team if
there is no unity so that the team work is not to be done properly. There are threats, fear, blame
and excuses by the leaders for the team members it makes team works ineffectively in the AW
holding company.

The concept of organization behaviour is the behaviour of the employee's team,
individuals and organization. In AW holding company organization behaviour is the impact of

of how to people works and take the efforts of their work in the AW holding company.
Organizational behaviour is the process of analysing and evaluating the behaviour, skills and
knowledge of the employees in the company, because every person has different behaviour,
skills and knowledge in the AW Holding company. Organizational behaviour is to identify the
needs of employees for the motivation aspects (Pinder, 2014.)
In AW holding company organizational behaviour is study to identify the manners and
conversation ways to their subordinates and management and understand that how to developed

behaviour in the AW holding company. These philosophies used to identify the behaviour of the
human. Such as philosophies human resources, human relation, system and productivity etc. in
human resources philosophies means that identify the growth and development of ability, skill,
knowledge and capacity of employee in their work. Organizational behaviour gives the
opportunities to growing up the capabilities in the company. In the human relation philosophies
means maintain the relation between the human resources and system by the employees in the
company. In this philosophy is to finding the needs and goals for more productivity and job
satisfaction. In the system philosophies means to identifying the system and human resources are
connected or not. These philosophies useful for all the employees and company. If the system is
not working so that subsystem are taking the task.
These philosophies improve and increase the quality of life. These philosophies improve the
disciplinary action of the employees. Organizational behaviour philosophies improves all the
issues related to human , social, economic, for more productivity, decision making and achieving
the organizational goals. Organizational behaviour philosophies are analysis the style of

situation related to technology. Organizational behaviour philosophies helps in proper
coordination and supportive environment in the company. These philosophies help in growth and
development of creativity, competencies of the employees in the company. Philosophies can be

philosophy's manager's role can change according to the situations of the work for development
of the employees skills, knowledges and abilities. Philosophies are creates new ideas and
innovation in the methods of management and behaviour of employees. Organization behaviour
philosophies identifies the motivation theories according to the employees needs. In AW
holding company organization behaviour means customers satisfaction and provide proper
services to the customers.
AW holding company provides many products of their customers so that they adopted
productivity philosophy. Company is manufacturing the gearbox, generators equipments so that
company is adopting the human resources' philosophy (Miner, 2015). Organizational behaviour
philosophies analysis the process of management such as planning, controlling, directing and

company. In contingency philosophies teach the behavioural practices of any situations for better
performance of the employees in the company. Organizational behaviour philosophies are find
out the skill's knowledge and abilities of the employees for effectiveness in the performance in
the company. Philosophies of organization behaviour identifies the training needs, selection
process of right candidates on the right job.
Philosophies includes reward system for the employees. Rewards can be done in form of bonus,
salary and incentives according to work performance and behaviour. Organizational behaviour
philosophies reduce the factors such as political, social, cultural, technological and
environmental affecting the company. Organizational behaviour philosophies manages the
