INTRODUCTION
Organizational behaviour define as those aspects which deals with behaviour of
employees working within an organization. These characteristics of an organization impacts
behavioural structure existing in an organization. Organizational behaviour leads upon
developing certain factors like performance, communication, motivation, leadership, job
structure and working profit. Further organizational behaviour helps in dealing upon those
conditions through which internal environment is improved within an organization. It also helps
in dealing with conflicts taking place within an organization by introducing positive environment
at work place. In other words organizational behaviour means those aspects dealing with
organizations internal factors causing disruption within its working patterns. Scope of
organizational behaviour is wider as it has tendency to impact working of organization directly.
Nature of organizational behaviour makes performance improved in more effective way.
Organization taken is Sainsbury which is an British retailer brand which sells wider range of
products that has been established in the year 1869. It has its headquarters in London, UK. The
report is based upon culture, power and politics on behaviour, ways to motivate team and
individual making goals and objectives achieved on time. In the end different concepts and
philosophies related to organizational behaviour.

Culture, power and politics within an organization impacts individual and team that
makes performance enhancement possible. These are the components which creates direct
impact upon an business organization. It creates negative and positive impact leads over
successful growth of an business in impactful manner(Nazarian and et. al., 2021).
Influence of power on individual and team
According to this different level of authority provides individual in making experiences
with knowledge improved in making management done with organized manner, through this
various conditions is handled in proper way. This makes rewards and appraisal given to
employee contributing towards employee's welfare in an organization. In context of management

different theories is used by Sainsbury that makes influence created upon behaviour of team and
individual has been explained as follows:
Coercive power: These power is based upon providing an individual manage its
perspective in daily working within an organization. Organization like Sainsbury allot
these power for CEO and managers that makes examination of work standards within
employees working within an organization.
Reward power: Such power is based upon management in relation to training,
development, reward, promotion and other facilities that has been covered. This is related
to performance of employees which is working within an organization. An organization
like Sainsbury has given the power to board of directors that helps in ave-haling benefits
by comparing all aspects in relation over business(McLaren and Appleyard, 2021).
Legitimate power: The power given according to educational qualification with
experiences. In context of Sainsbury power is distributed within CEO which helps in
taking right decisions taken by following legal obligation applied upon working of
business.
Referent power: As per this power leaders and managers make motivation developed
within an organization. The power has been allotted only to leaders and managers of
Sainsbury for improving working standards of an organization with more impact.
Expert power: It is the power that has been offered by an individual making speciality
attained within particular topic. Sainsbury gives this power to managers which makes
management control in effective way.
Informational power: The power has been rendered through the ability posse by an
intraindividual which makes balanced information circulated within business. It is
provided to CEO of Sainsbury which makes recording of financial statements done in
better manner.
Influence of politics on individual and team
They are political factors creating direct influence upon individuals behaviour that leads
upon effective decision making mechanism developed within team helping in making relation of
business strong. Also the management of Sainsbury takes different decisions influencing
individual's behaviour that has been explained as follows:
