Organizational leaderships have changed the way they perceive communication. Communication
can be defined as premeditated plan to explain a company’s objectives, values to its target
groups. This article gives an overview of how the management uses communication in
accomplishing its policy.
The leadership of C-suite utilizes communication as an instrument for executing its plan. The
management of corporate bodies employs strategic communication in initiating the achievement
of their objectives (Argenti, 2017). Communication is significant to firms, internal,
transformation, innovation and cultural development.
A successful leader acts as the principle communicator of the dream of the company. A leader
acts as a vision enhancer which promotes identity and mission by the employees. Research
describes a leader in two ways:
An individual in an organization who formulates and implements the strategies of
a firm
Individuals who occupy the C-suite with certain duties and mandates
Surveys on leadership theories identify communicating goals as one of the determinants of
organizational performance (Sull, Homkeys, and Sull, 2015). Communication serves as a ability
that the role of leadership demands and also as a sign of future progress. There are three elements
that relate to tactical dialogue in the C-suite
The first element is implementing plan from the c-suite where the senior leadership gauges the
significance of communication basing on the rank of the communication executive in the
company. Secondly, c-suite utilizes communication during the period of change within the
organization. Jen Prosek noted that: “One can only realize results in transforming management
circumstances if there is customary foundation of habitual transparent two-way interaction with
the staff and have conventional level of dependence
The article describes how 15 individuals participated in an interview to reveal their experiences
during changes in the firm. Informal, formal and descriptive methods of analysis were essential
in the study.
Management employs three themes in their communication policies:
Obtaining a precise plan that reoccurs always
Developing a traditions for strategic implementation
The availability of leaders to deliver information

Superintendents of a school need to show high level performance at all sectors of their duties in
order to affect quality results. Studies reveal that this position in a school needs various skills
which include communication with other stakeholders of the institution. Superintendents in the
state of California districts for instance, in a certain survey indicate that the leaders stay in their
role for less than three years. The managers earn high levels of respect period if they maintain a
culture of efficient communication. An ex-superintendent Dr. Jeny Wesr noted that “great
communication skills will add years to your leadership period as a thriving superintendent”
(Hilliar and Newsome, 2013).
An article Leadership is a conversation by Adam Ek berg describes the significance of
communication in the 21st century. The paper reveals that great leaders discuss with their
employees in a manner that is similar to dialogue (Groysberg and Slind, 2012). Communication
promotes intimacy, which enhances closeness among the stakeholders. Effective communication
also flourishes interactivity. Moreover, personal conversation develops intentionality as the
discussion focuses on an agenda. It is therefore, essential for successful leaders to embrace the
use of communication to promote the spread of messages organizations.
