Shannon and weaver model of communication:
This is the model that is designed so that effective communication might be developed
between sender and receiver. Also, this model finds factors that affects communication process
such as noise. Moreover, this model is based on various concepts such as sender, encoder,
channels, decoder and receiver. Thus, all these factors together make the communication process
effective for delivering any kind of message (Shannon Weaver Model Of Communication – 7
Key Concepts, 2022). Moreover, it is best known for explaining the ability of messages that
might be misinterpreted before sending or receiving any kind of message. Also, first information
is passed from sender that it is later encoded where idea is converted into signals so that better
understanding might be developed by the receiver in the end. Further, the information is travelled
from any medium such as telephones, emails, messages and much more.
However, before the message is finally delivered to receiver there are chances that
message is not delivered properly due to any of internal or external circumstances called as
noise. Furthermore, once the message send by the sender is decoded and reached to the receiver
than in the end of this model feedback is given to close the communication. Thus, this model
explains how the information is delivered along with the barriers that affects the communication.
Moreover, this model breaks down the communication into understandable parts but it fails to
address in situations when there is situation of addressing one to many communications.
