INTRODUCTION
Organizational communication is the process which comprises using various channels
and helps in transferring information from one department to another and helps in operating
organization internal and external. Effective communication will contribute the better
performance and organizational success as it help in boosting employees morale, increases the
individuals satisfaction and promotes better engagement for driving the loyalty and competitive
within institution. This report will provide details about the general theories of organizational
communication. Also, evaluates the barriers for communication which prevents people in getting
vaccinated. Lastly it outlines various governmental strategies for overcoming barriers.
MAIN BODY
1. Discussing the general theories of organizational communication
Communication theories are the structural approaches which mainly focuses on
individuals behaviour and attitudes. It generally encompasses the importance of communication
process in organization. The general theories to organization communication are:
Bureaucratic theory : For the organizational communication emphasizes on the controlling the
individuals for ensuring better chain of command and growing performance, which helps in
leading the company towards success in the workplace and adopting standardized, specialized
methods for performing work.
Acceptance theory of authority for communication : This theory comprise the three key main
components where in which encompasses in explaining the information organization as the
serving the three functions which as the communicating, maintenance, of cohesiveness in
organization, and maintaining both feelings of personal integrity and self-respect. The theorist
has mainly explaining that the authority and communication process where the executives are
interacting with the communication system for coordinating and recognizing the authorities
(Malvini Redden and Scarduzio, 2018). This theory also, encompasses organizational
communication as it does not only stress on the need for the various channels needed for
communicating with different authorities and members for reporting and performing various
tasks in organization. Also, the theorist believes that there must be short and direct
communications channels adopted for better and increasing speed of communication with tow or
more persons.

General system theory of communication : This theory when applied to organization increases
the better understanding and promotes inter connections between various individuals. This
system theory is applied to public relations help in enhancing the results and gives better outputs
from the public relations team members of the organizations. This construct demands from the
professionals to consider the organization as a one large part which is interdependent on the
success. By using this theory has satisfies the and moulded the actions which results in satisfying
the needs and wants of system (Wang, 2022). This helps in investigating the functions of
organization. It also emphasizes on the same kind of communication must be transfer in the
whole organization process involving various different departments. This concept also
emphasize on providing feedback and it has also influenced the researchers for evaluating
external boundaries of communication.
Theory of x and y for communication : It is the theory which motivates the team members, it
helps in identifying the perceptions that manager has and influences the employees act of doing
something. In this the x and y theory motivates the employees increases self-control, encourages
creativity and recognizes better individual for doing work. This theory emphasizes on rewarding
the employees on basis of the performance and theory contribution towards attaining the goals of
organization. Also, giving and motivating the employees for committing the goals and
objectives.
Functional approach to corporate culture: this theory of organization communication has
functional approach to various corporate culture. This concept views culture as an important
asset for the organization which improves the performance and growth of the organization
(Bulych, 2019). It generally reflects that for the communication being effective must have the
proper and better organizational culture helps in shaping the growth and work of the various
employees in various corporate businesses.
2. Evaluating the barriers of communication which is preventing people getting the vaccine
There are various barriers of communication which is preventing many individual in
getting the vaccination. The infectious disease is spreading across the harmful infectious disease.
Emotional and perceptual barriers: Misconceptions, sadly ideas for vaccine and
different sentiments. Also, the uncertainty around vaccines due to lack of knowledge, as
well as the recommendation of various relatives results stressful situation, anxiety will

influence individuals in positive and negative way for getting vaccinated. Also, the false
beliefs abut getting vaccinated will reflect individual emotional attributes in
immunization.
Information barriers: Misinformation and wrongful information will influence various
individual for getting vaccinated. Sometimes the wrongful information from the
campaigns, television and media will impact the knowledges about getting vaccinated
which increases the problem in many instances.
Attitudinal barriers: The vaccine hesitancy is the barrier which delays individual in
getting vaccinated for the protection. It generally includes the lack of trust toward the
vaccines by different individuals, also lack of trust on the health care workers who
delivers vaccines. Further more the past experience of getting vaccinated ranges with
complete refusal of getting vaccinated by the individuals (Lăzăroiu, Mihăilă and Branişte,
2021). The vaccine attitudes is seen for the complete refusal as if the hesitant individual
also depends on the circumstances of vaccinations.
Cultural barriers : The various cultural barriers about vaccination includes various
components individual perspective, religious perspective of various different cultural and
beliefs will influence various individual in getting vaccinated. As for instance the belief
that the particular body is scared should not receive certain chemical which will ascertain
other health issues, it will naturally heal no vaccination and immunization is required to
cure disease (MacDonald, Butler and Dubé, 2018). Also, for instance the suspicion about
the vaccination has resulted in the various Muslims culture about the pool vaccines.
Regarded as cultural barriers for immunization.
Language barriers : This barrier is generally ascertaining the difference in language will
affect the understanding of other individual. As for instance the campaigns, other website
and media using American English language which is being communicated in Egypt
where they don't understand this language as people there uses Arabic, will be regarded
as a language barrier. Also, the information providing by the state and country official in
various indigenous languages will affect various communities and group understanding.
Thus, the myths, misconceptions and false perceptions for vaccine hesitancy and opposite will
hinder the desired outcomes of vaccinations and preventing the disease in various individuals.

3. Outlining various government strategies to overcome these barriers
For overcoming the various barriers of the vaccination and immunisations , the
government has adopted various strategies:
Communication strategies : The various health associations, health nationalist and
social scientist for considering the pandemic and proper communicating channels
adopting by using proper language channels, and engaging policymakers and
communities which will represent and provides guidance for the immunization.
(Thomson, Vallee-Tourangeau and Suggs, 2018). Also, establishing the effective
communication for the public health crises through multiple messages, also engaging an
interactive session through media and journals for expressing opinions, reactions on the
risk management and various institutional arrangements for the immunizations being
adopted for overcoming different communication barrier.
Targetting individual for delivering vaccination merits: People engagement with the
different responses towards the public health information influencing the various cultures
and social identity, age, gender, will be adopted for perceiving the trust worthiness.
Focusing on target individuals: Government will ficus on target individuals by
implementing and adopting various strategies, by providing vaccinations to needy
individuals at home, this will remove the inconvenience barriers of patients.
Expanding vaccination message: With this strategy the government will focus ore on
communicating clearly for the benefits to the various individual abut getting vaccinated,
also stresses upon the importance of getting vaccinated with the preferred languages and
translating messages in various communities by remembering the cultures.
Improving transparency strategy : The government will improve the transparency
regarding the side effects and effectiveness of vaccinations. By providing the up to date
information from the various websites of co-win, also adopting various combination of
communication for reaching at large population for addressing fears, misconceptions and
support for encouraging the better environment for patients (Toward effective government
communication strategies in the era of COVID-19, 2020). Also, asking the customers and
service providers for crafting the information with the eligibility, schedules and coverage.
Further more, adopting the multitouch strategy for reminding the benefits and importance
of second dose, after 15 days of first dose of vaccination. Also, government will adopt various

through campaigns and mobile branding thorough the immunization information system.
CONCLUSION
After addressing this report it can be concluded that organizational communication plays
important role for updating various tasks, policies, strategies. Effective communication in
organization helps in boosting the employees for working better, improves morale and givs better
vision for performing various tasks assigned. There are various communication barriers which
hinders individual for getting vaccinated on time mainly including the language barriers,
attitudinal, structural, cultural, emotional and perceptional barriers. For overcoming barriers for
immunization the government has adopted various communicating strategies targeting audience
of particular age group, expansion information strategy and various technical methods for
evaluating vaccination information.
