1ORGANIZATIONAL CRISIS
Introduction
The aim of the paper is to evaluate the challenges faced by the Child Care Center situated
in Malta hence this paper is divided into two distinct parts, while the first part of the paper
highlights the issues and challenges faced by the organization, the second part deals with the
probable solutions and recommendations.
Situations analysis
It is imperative to note that the Arzella Child care Center is facing one of the
organizational crises of effective staffing. Being part of the organization, it has been observed
that one of the primary factors affecting the effective functioning and efficiency of the
organization due to the problem of low wages and effective recruitment structure. It has been
observed that the organization is facing higher attrition rate due to the non-availability of staff
and it is imperative to note that within the context of the child care institutions, it is important to
have balance staff and child ratio. Some of the issues of the ineffective staffing are: poor
management skills, lower wages of the staff, decreasing job satisfaction and improper rendering
of service
Recommendations and solutions
Considering the issue of ineffective management of staff, it is to be observed that the
organization has to adopt the Fayol’s management model for the better management with the
personnel (Peaucelle et al. 2015). An organization of the new century takes into consideration of
the Fayol’s management model which is inclusive of the following steps. For an effective

recruitment policy to be adopted it is important for the child care center to follow this structure.
This structure includes proper and efficient planning by breaking each of the tasks into discrete
parts, organization, commanding, coordinating and controlling. It seems that the organization is
facing the challenges of ineffective staff management due to the ineffective planning of the staff
recruitment. Following Fayol’s 14 principles of management it has been found that ensuring the
stability of the tenure of the personnel is one of the crucial factors of a successful management
(Peaucelle et al. 2015). According to this theory, management of the right people and their
effective deployment of personnel are crucial to organizational management. Some of the
organizational recruiting strategies to be adopted by these respective organizations are:
Creation of job posts reflecting the organizational values: It is significant to note
that value creation of the organization helps to create the first impression in the
mind of the employees which drives them to derive inspiration and clarity
regarding the value of the customers (Bratton et al. 2017).
It is also important consider the fact that appraisal and financial bonuses works as
one the crucial motivating factors, since it has been observed that the large
number of employee attrition is due to the lower wages, it is significant for the
organization to plan and prepare proper bonuses for completion of work. This
works as an incentive for the employees of the organization and keep them
motivated.
It is important to consider the fact that there are two important parameters of
rewarding the existing employees, it can be in form of non-monetary benefits like
training and monetary trainings, the monetary benefits (Bratton et al. 2017). There
should also be a process of performance appraisal in a systematic and periodic
