What team development and training activities you would undertake to address the
following issues?
In the context of the above scenario and the given case study, conventional training will
generally be required to include techniques and the essential skills for the employees (Lacerenza
et al.2018). Furthermore, development of the roles and the responsibilities towards health and
safety in the work environment and analysis of the work-related issue through value addition for
the gain of the competitive advantage of the employees are some of the important factors
contributing to the team development.
What are the various consultative process you would implement to maximize participation
in the organizational development process?
Participative decision making or PDM is one of the major consultative procedure for
encouraging and allowing the employees to participate or share in the decision making procedure
of the organization. Team Building, the flow of the work, informal status of the relationships
among the members of the organization and the channels of the communication that are formal
are some of the factors of the procedure. The consultative process mainly targets the areas of
concern like decision making, leadership, communication, conflict resolution and problem-
solving. Furthermore recruitment of skilled labor force an increase in the remuneration of the
existing employees are important factors included in the consultative process (Cummings and
Worley 2014).
How would you manage conflict between individuals or groups to achieve consensus or
agreement ?
Conflicts at workplace are the special features or the lifeblood of the organizations
performing in the top level. Before the management of the conflict among groups or individuals
it is important to manage ourselves (Baillien et al. 2014). Fight or flight or freeze, these are the
common reactions towards conflict. Some of the essential skills one must understand and utilize
for the effective management of the conflict among individuals or groups are creation and
maintenance of bond even in the case of adversary, establishment of dialogue and ability to
negotiate, understanding of the causes and think rationally, building up of positive relations and
usage of the law of reciprocity.
