INTRODUCTION
Organisational development in which the specific interventions are created with the
appropriate mind set, it helps in aligning the company’s goals and activities in a planned way.
Thus to develop the better results that will improvise the organisational business performance
(Margherita, Sharifi & Caforio, (2021)). ASDA a supermarket chain headquarter is located in
Leeds, England, UK. Following report will cover the company’s overview and HR policy
statement for the training and development, it also covers the management training plan to
develop the communicating with impact, confidence and energy skills.

Company profile
ASDA company a British supermarket chain, provide the better online grocery shopping
services. They offer the range of products and services across the different region of the
company. Number of employees who are working for the company are more than 14500 who are
dedicated towards their role and completing the business requirement for the company to
produce better result. As for the market segment it is found that company target almost every
region of UK, however the target people for the company is Women of age 20 And 30. And the
second target group for the company are males. It is found that company follow the hierarchical
and the functional type of structure to drives the values at work place in order to move their team
in forward direction.
Statement of HR policy on training and development
Human resource in the company plays an significant role from hiring to managing the employee
and to analyse the need for the training and other session to sharpen the knowledge and
developing the relevant skills in employees. Human resource team first analyse the requirement
of the work place and then generate the job post to provide its information on company’s web
profile and on social media platform. It helps them in attracting the fresh talent who can
compliments the work place environment (Podmetina and et.al (2018)). Thus HR team also
provides the better on boarding experience to the employees and to analyse the need for the
training and development. Training development plan helps the corporate in streamlining their
