INTRODUCTION
The below essay describes the positioning of success in higher education. It involves
reflective approach, use of formative feedback, behavioural and cultural expectations and the
importance of peer-to-peer support. In the learning aspects reflective approach is very much
important (Arqawi, Abu-Naser and Al Shobaki, 2019). The reason behind this is that it
develops an ability to properly understand about the concept of how individuals actually learn
and different ways that should be used to enhance their skills. There are basically two models
that are used in the learning cycle and these are Gibbs model and Kolb circle of learning. The
main aim of formative feedback is to monitor each student learning on the basis of which
improvements can be made. There are many expectations on the basis of culture and behaviour
that a student needs in the field of business management because it helps in building up the level
of growth and also develop the knowledge in certain areas (Arzubiaga and et.al, 2018). While
learning, proper team work is necessary because on the basis of that only people would get to
know about other people abilities and then make certain improvements.

In relation with COVID-19 pandemic, it has created a major impact on hospitality,
travelling as well as leisure. In context with hospitality industry, they need to face many
challenges as everything was getting closed right from restaurants, theme parks and many more.
All consumers expected that the hospitality companies should enable high level safety (Del
Chiappa, Pung and Atzeni, 2021). In association with this sector, it has been one of the hardest
hit sectors that got affected. People lost jobs because their industry was facing huge amount of
loss. In accordance with travel and leisure industry, the pandemic has affected them at high level
and major crisis got occurred. Due to this, there were many travel restrictions that took place and
they faced decrease in demand from all travellers. There was maximum number of people who
were not being interested in visiting different cities because in future they have perceived health
issues. All the sectors with respect to hospitality, travel and leisure, the pandemic affected them
more in a negative way because various modifications need to take place. Before this situation,
companies were doing high amount of investment and people were being more interested in
going to restaurants and travel ( Sakdiyakorn, Golubovskay and Solnet, 2021). COVID-19

and Liang, 2021). In earlier times, there are more than billions of passengers who used to travel
from airlines but as increment in disease took place there were 1 billion passengers who got
removed. Another example is associated with hotel Marriott international. They faced negative
impact in terms of financial basis. As very less individuals used to go to hotels because of the
fear of pandemic.
Use of formative feedback to improve and inform summative assessed work
The main objective of formative feedback assessment is to evaluate the learning aspects
of student in order to provide feedback so that the overall work and learning can be improved. It
helps students to determine all their strengths and weaknesses in relation with their higher
education through which their summative assessment work is also getting improved (Brändle,
Golla and Kuckertz, 2019). It helps all management staff also to identify new steps in the
procedure of learning so that students can get full information regarding their summative work.
With respect to the success in higher orientation, formative assessment is used because it
analyses the whole learning process of individuals and in accordance with that gets the
information that who wants support in order to achieve success ( Tseane-Gumbi, 2020).. The
aspect of this formative feedback is always considered as a part of learning and check for proper
decisions being taken. Besides this, the assessment work is improved through the constant
feedback which students get as per their performance. As per the orientation for achieving
success in complete educational period, it informs as well as improves with the help of several
seminars, quizzes and many more (Burns and Martin, 2021). The aspect of summative
assessment also gets improved because the feedback helps all students in properly understanding
the limits which are getting arise with respect to their own knowledge. While doing summative
assessment work, various issues takes place and it becomes difficult for the student as well as for
faculty members to properly access the whole learning in higher education. Through this,

cultural and behavioural expectations that are involved in the phase of studying. While receiving
higher education in university, students has different expectations with respect to both culture as
well as behaviour (Joswiak, 2018). The aspect of learning gets affected by culture because it is
indulged with what the individuals are actually doing and what they were believing. The people
are not same with respect to the culture and their behaviour. Positive attitude is one of the major
factor which aids an individual to learn and induce all those all those approaches that play a
crucial role for completion of work in an organised manner. From the perspective of business
this is understand positive attitude towards learning is a useful factor because this helps for learn
appropriate approaches from the course. Following university policy is an important factor
because this helps for manage and shape the an individual according to the corporate identity.

start their career in right manner. One of the most important way to achieve success is to monitor
and implement all those sections which is useful for make positive changes in the community
especially, to respect culture of other classmates also and this is useful for complete study with
