MAIN BODY
Impact of Covid-19 on hospitality, travel and leisure
The word Covid-19 who is on the tongue of every person from last two years, Covid-19
had disastrous impacts on many-life as well as industries, in which the affect that Covid has
made on travel, hospitality and leisure is still threatening them to be same. It has drastically
destroyed the travel and hospitality as this pandemic proved itself as a life threatening pandemic
and when the effects of Covid started to show it's original colour, the government have banned
on all these industries so that they can maintain social distancing and may save some lives.
Hospitality and travel sector are one of the worst affected sector due to Covid. It has decreased
the revenue from this sector by 50% as of pre pandemic years, even after removing the ban from
travel and hotel and home stay, this sector is not seeking the growth they used to seek
(Karsavuran.2021). People's are afraid to travel, people's are thinking of better hygiene facility as
well as proper sanitization which every organisation is using, seeking inside the world of
international tourism it tells that there is 72% of decrease in the travel sector, as everyone knows

hospitality and travel are two faces of one coin which directly affects each other when the one
sector is earning profit, the other will earn it too.
However, when any one of them is suffering loss then other will also get impacted by it.
Also, the Covid has made the booking window go down because Covid have taught the people's
to live in present rather than making plan for future, that's the reason people's have stopped
making plan regarding the travel two-three months prior which has blocked down the booking
window both physical and online (Gabe, 2020).
Determining the use of formative feedback in order to inform and improve summative assessed
work
Formative feedback refers to that feedback that has been given to the students at the mid
of the session so the further improvements can be made by the students in their learning
(Prashanti and Ramnarayan, 2019). I have got the numerous benefits from the formative
feedback that has been provided by my tutor. In the middle of the session, my tutor has provided
me the feedback just after the formative assessment. It provided me the idea regarding my
strength and weaknesses related to my learning. The summative assessment refers to that
assessment that is linked with the formative assessment (Dolin and et.al., 2018). The difference
among both the assessment is that, formative assessment has been taken during the course is
ongoing. While, the summative assessment refers to the assessment that has been taken at the
end of the course. The motive of both the assessment is same and that is linked with increasing
the learning efficiency of the learners in order to generate the good outcomes (Leenknecht and
et.al., 2021).
After giving the test in formative assessment, my tutor has provided me the feedback in
relation to my performance in the test. Afterwards, the feedback has informed me about the
major aspects that has to be taken in consideration in order to make effective performance in
summative assessment. On the basis of the formative feedback of my teacher, I recreated my
learning schedule. The major focus has been provided to that subject under which more amount
of hard work or extra focus was required. The formative feedback has enabled me in order to
provide the focus over those subject that can impact my final result. Thus, the formative
feedback has been proven highly effective in terms of improving my summative assessed work.
Also, it has helped me in order to develop my effective learning skills that assures effective
academic result to me.

Identification of the cultural and behavioural expectations in order to study degree in business
and management
Cultural and behavioural expectation refers to the standards that has been concerned with
values and beliefs of the students. The guided behaviour of the students teach them to behave in
a social group (McCallum and Milner, 2021). In order to study the degree in business and
management I have experienced certain cultural and behavioural expectations within my group.
This degree has cleared my vision in relation to understanding and assuring the cultural value to
all the people who are from different culture. Also, I got the knowledge in relation to the
behavioural expectation of the people. While learning my course, I got to know that, in a
business there are large number of people involved who are from the different background and
all of them are integrated with the different culture. Thus, it is important to maintain the cultural
regularity. As this ensures the values towards all people that are from the different culture
(Garmendia, Irigoyen and Merlo, 2021). Also, this leads to create the higher sense of the
belongingness in the people in the business. I have learned these major elements. I will use this
learning in my future as well. At my workplace I will use this aspect in order to assure cultural
value to each person.
In my opinion, the cultural and behavioural expectation of studying the degree in
business and management is concerned with understanding the cultural values of all people that
are involved in the business. Thus, the collective set of the values and beliefs has to be
maintained in order to ensure the effective learning of the courses that are related to the business
management (Larson and et.al., 2018). I will assure the effective values to all my mates rather
than judging them on the basis of their culture. As it is highly important to create the inclusive
environment in order to ensure the effective group learning in the classroom (Caldwell, Renner
and Atkinson, 2018).
Analysing the importance of peer-to-peer support & team working in order to enhance the
learning experience
Peer to peer support refers to the scenario in which the sharing of the knowledge and
experience has been done among the tutors in order to gain more knowledge. (Vicinay and et.al.,
2019). The team collaboration enable all the tutor in terms implementing the effective teaching
techniques for the students so, the learning of the students can become more effective
(Sutherland and Marchand, 2021). Due to this, my learning experience has become more

effective. My tutor has got the training in relation of implementing the effective teaching
technique and this enables me to enhance my learning. Effective teaching techniques leads to
adopt efficient learning techniques. The effective team collaboration among all the teachers has
created the effective learning environment in the college in which the knowledge has been shared
among all the teachers and students (Tan and et.al., 2018). Thus, the effective coordination
among the tutors leads to provide the impact over the learning ability of the students. I have
experience this and also added glory in my learning ability. When the teacher is highly
knowledgable then, the tutor easily understand the barriers that are coming in the path of learning
and if the teacher has any difficulty then, it has been solved by the other tutors. Thus, peer to
peer support and the effective team collaboration has helped me in order to add efficiency in my
learning.
CONCLUSION
From the above essay it has been concluded that, COVID has impacted in drastic way
over the hospitality, tourism and leisure. As the business of this sector went on decreasing rate
and created huge loss for the hospitality and tourism industry. Also, the integration among the
businesses gets the pause. Furthermore, the report has described the usage of formative feedback
in order to improve the summative assessed work of the students. Formative feedback plays the
vital role in terms of providing the idea to the learners regarding their current status in the
learning. Also, the students becomes able to make the goals in order to improve their learning.
The cultural and behavioural expectations is concerned with the faith and beliefs of the
students. The essay has highlighted the cultural & behavioural expectations of required is order
to study the degree in the business and managements. Peer to Peer support plays the vital role in
creating the effective learning experience for the students ( Rosenberg and et.al., 2022). Effective
team collaboration among all the tutors leads to create the effective learning environment for the
students. The report has shed the light over the importance of peer to peer support in order to
increase the learning ability of the students.
