Health weight is not only the concern of an individual but also the worry of maximum
families, communities, societies and our economy. The purpose of the topic is to shed light
on the development of personal skills in the management of obesity. Currently, obesity or
overweight becomes a major problem globally (Flynn, 2015). Each and every person now
wants to maintain a healthy wait for his/her well physique. However, misbalance in energy
source results the changing in food type, food availability and affordability. Because of
decreasing the level of high-energy foods, physical activity has partly declined (Bonsergent et
al., 2013). AS a result, a little bit weight loss is so much beneficial now a days. Now help
people in realizing and preparing them throughout the life, because of each type of obesities
is essential. Also, this personal development skills must be facilitated in school, college,
home, working place an society. Because of this novel reason educational, commercial,
professional and voluntary bodies are required for ultimate action. It can help individual to
practice of better regulation in their own health and also over their domains. Recently certain
obesity prevention programs and activities in community sector is trying continuously to
improve the awareness of both educated and uneducated people. These programs give both
mental as well as physical support by encouraging people for bringing change in their daily
life style and food habit (Wang et al., 2013). Generally obesity is directly proportional to the
calories consumed by individuals. In the biological terms Obesity is described as the state of
excess adipose tissue mass. Excessive intake in calories degrades the normal stage of obesity
and turned it into complex situation.

Ottawa Charter Strategy and Obesity
Ottawa Charter has described five simple strategies to overcome the complex
condition regarding to major or minor diseases. Among all the five theories development of
personal skill strategies are most helpful action in investigating and evaluating the relevance
and pertineny of health promotion actions to obesity (Jackson et al., 2013). Obesity can be
dominated by simple healthy weight strategies, that will help to convert a unhealthy weight
into healthy physique. Now unhealthy condition of the body generally impair the wellbeing,
ability to earn, quality of life and satisfaction on life of an individual. Obesity leads to heavy
weight, that leads to physical inactivity and lastly physical inactivity leads to poor mental
condition , chronic diseases and decrease in life expectancy (Flynn, 2015).
Effect of Obesity in the society
Obesity is not only related to the over weight of an individual but also obesity brings
the condition of certain cardiac disease and moderate blood pressure and diabetes . However,
this is more dangerous issue that the children having overweight are more prone to the
asthma, infection in bone and joint and disturbance in sleep (Desahulter, Lavie & Milani,
2014). The whole value of obesity was estimated in 2015 at $8.6 billion in US. Also, the
influence of decrement of well being and unseasonable death was calculated at $47.4 billion
in US (Yeung et al., 2017). It can be estimated from a study that one in six premature death in
Australia might be eliminated by an ideal attempt to bring back all those people within the
range of healthy physique, who were actual overweight.
Now obesity is not the same for everyone. Sociologically disadvantages area contains
76 percent more adult obesity rate compare to advantaged areas. Also, in major cities rate of
