OVERVIEW OF INTERNETWORKING
Project Scope
The project spectrum for network development solution for the education consultant firm has been
identified as:
The future advancement of the company will be cogitate about while expansion of the
network of the organisational structure.
IP is to be separated into different small unit of subnet which will prevent the speed of the
network from compromising and it also advances the network by using the experience for
the users.
To boost the period time of the network, different extra link are to be used so that if there is
a situation of network failure the data packets reach its destination.
Project requirement
Functional Requirement
The data packet loss should be avoided along with network congestion for better
performance.
The transmission medium of the network is to be divided into different paths so that they
reach the destination address using non-usable links.
IP address ideas has to be started for setting the devices which can help to increase the
stability of the network [7].
To block the front desk and guest to access the host connected in the finance department
VLAN.
To identify the protocol and technology that is essential for the configuration of the network
device installed in the network.
Non Functional Requirement
Site analysis is to be done to meet the user requirements and to develop the network
structure consequently.
The feasibility study of the network and cost for developing the network has to be
calculated.
The number of user and the floor plan of the building is to be identified where the network
will be used.
To deploy backup power for handling power outages and eliminate network failure scenario
To connect the network devices with redundant link and arrange additional modules for
management of the connection [3].

OVERVIEW OF INTERNETWORKING
Network Design
The map of the network is to be designed in such a way that the utility, measurability, and
the characteristics of different user, along with the environment of the network. The network design
has to be done in such a way that it focuses on the performance of the user [1]. The solution of the
network has to user-centric so that the limitations in the network could be avoided.

Access point and Server configuration guidelines
For the computation of advancement of network solution, there is a development in the
network guidelines, which helps in designing the admittance of the network resources. By designing
guidelines, the file are to be managed between users and different work [6]. An integrative control
can be spread on network, which would minimize the security risk from both internal and external
entities. The wireless router is needed to be configured by application of encryption algorithm such
that it is restricted to be access by the unknown users [2]. A print server is needed to be deployed
for the management of the printing queues and it should be configured with active directory for
management of the user groups accessing the server resources.
Security Configuration
The router is configured with the help of control accessing list to manage the security of the
resource and sensitive information. Unauthorised and unknown user are restricted from accessing
the internal resources by the firewall which has been installed in the network premises. To remove
the internal threats the switches are configured to isolate each department with the help of VLAN
[8]. The network could be installed with IPS or IDS system to monitor the data and to resist the DOS
(Denial of Services) attacks.

Conclusion
This report concludes that how the communication process among the department of the
given education firm can be improved. Identification of protocols which are required for network
development is identified by the resource estimation process. To increase the network security
configuration is required and it is also been identified to manage access between different
departments with each other. To connect each department with each other switch configuration has
been done with the help of VLAN. Designing in done in such a way that there exist a chance for
advancement of the network in the future. A prototype of the network is designed in Boson Netsim
simulator for the demonstration of the configuration and protocols used for the development of the
network framework.
