INTRODUCTION
The present poster describes the effect of
World health organization over the
professional conduct as an accountant. This
effect results in realization of more in the
communities at global level. In the poster
details of WHO is presented which
includes the organization type, the work it
odes and area where it operates and extent
of its International operation and effect on
overall world. Furthermore, the inclusion
in the poster is the contribution made by
the WHO for the betterment of society and
for the people. The set of skills as an
accountant that can contribute in the
projects of WHO is presented in this
poster.
OVERVIEW OF WORLD HEALTH
ORGANIZATION
 WHO is a non profit organisation
and focus on the health related issues
and agenda at global level.
 The main aim of WHO is better
health for everyone, everywhere.
 It works with 194 members across
six regions and operated through 150
offices.
 WHO fights to combat
communicable diseases like HIV,
influenza and non communicable
disease like Cancer, heart disease.
 WHO focuses on giving mothers
and children assistance to service
and thrive to make them live a
healthy long life.
 It also ensure the safety of the air
people breath and the foot they eat,
water they drink and make sure the
availability of medicines and
vaccines to for everyone.
CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMON
GOOD
 WHO with making recommendation
to cure the diseases also helps the
member nations in keeping the
people more healthy.
 It has a global level surveillance
system that track the drug resistance
and a global Antibiotic Research
and Development partnership, in
order to develop a new antibiotic to
treat the infectious disease.
 WHO have proposed a new target to
benefit more than 1 billion people
from the universal health coverage
by 2023.
 The programs which are under taken
by WHO are many, air pollution,
bold transfusion safety, cancer,
child growth standards to name few.
MY PROFESSIONAL
CONTRIBUTION
As an accountant my professional skills
are to organise the financial records and to
preset them in predetermine format in
accordance with the accounting policies,
principles and standers in order to present
them in understandable format. As an
accounting professional I can summarize,
record and present all the transaction of
the WHO at place to present the in the
form of financial statements. The financial
statement of all countries differs and I can
use my professional skill to being all the
projects and financial information at one
place to determine the overall performance
of the WHO at global level as well as
national levels.
Being a Non profit organisation the
income and expenditure will be shown as
project wise report. As an accountant I can
bring down the success and failure level of
the various projects taken by the
organisation in the forms of tabular and
graphical representation. Also, a digital
report can be produced by me over the
project developments and achievements to
present it to the broad of directors and all
those who are responsible for the projects
undertaken by the WHO.
