Scorcu and Vici, 2015). 1500 BC is marked as the era when the Europeans visited pyramids and thus developed the tourism for pilgrimage. Early

Factors that may prevent/hinder sustainable tourism development
Sustainable development is very important for the Philippine but it is not easy to introduce it. There are many elements that hinder the
sustainable tourism development in the country
Major factors that may prevent or hinder sustainability are as following:
Recession: It is the main element due to this people do not spent much
amount in holidays planning. If there is recession then government will
not be able to spent much amount in the sustainable development in the
nation. As if there is shortage of money them public or private firms
would not be able to spent much amount in planning, thus poor planning
will give negative result this is the major constrain the sustainable
development of tourism in Philippine.
Socio-economic challenges: It is another factor that may hinder the development. Culture is the main factor that impacts lot on the tourism and
if social background is weak then tourists then preservation of natural resources cannot be happened. Thus, there would not be possible of
sustainable development of tourism.
Guest-host relationship: If Philippine is having poor relationship with the guest tourist countries
then it would be issue for the cited destination. Due to this, visitors of particular country would not
plan to visit here that is a hinder in the development of tourism business.
