Consumer protection is legislation in travel and tourism which

As per the law, CPA is the act which
protect the interest of consumers. The travel
agency are under the obligation duty towards

If there is any changes in the description and
holiday so, under this act consumer have a
right to claim the travel agency for
compensation. The agency is liable to give
services like accommodation, flights, car hire,
as long as the consumers are part of the

Hotel Priorities act 1956
As per the act, this includes the right of
consumer in which there is a
responsibility of hotel staff to take proper
care of their customers and they have to

industry.

Trade description act 1968 is an
important act for customers and who suffered
from misleading descriptions. This act
imposes penalties against false giving
statements to customers and penalties are
given to the travel agencies when they know
that they are misleading their customers. The
act protects consumers from false statements
and fraud by the travel agency.
