Palliative care is a multidisciplinary approach to give medical care to those affected by life-limiting diseases. It aims to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, caregiver, and practical needs. Palliative care reduces pain and tormenting disease signals, gives dying a normal look, and gives life a reason to exist. It is a practice that should be introduced everywhere in health facilities to improve live safe dying lives.
