Introduction
In last two years, world has seen so mand changes and reason for all these adverse
situations is global pandemic. But there are few changes which has given new ways to
conduct the different activities of our daily. There is one major change which has been
observed during this period is replacement of offline learning with the online platform
(Purwanto, 2020). Yes, education industry is the one who has suffered immensely with this
global pandemic, because all educational institution had to switch their functioning with
online application and all the classes conducted with the help of these medium. This given
report is based on this topic that in what COVID has made it compulsory for teachers as well
as to continue their study with the help different online video conferencing. Along with this,
it will also discuss about the advantages of these alteration on study of the children and its
negative side for the same.
Main Body
Impact of pandemic on education system-
Almost billions of people were influences with the pandemic and generate to new
lifestyle for the common people. More than 150 schools of different countries have
confronted the situation of disturbed educational system. Students were continuously getting
away from their schools and universities and this has created blunder in the execution of their
study plans. This period has given the rise to the new methods of conducting the education
which is about the online learning. In this technique, educational institution has developed
their own personalized software or tools through which they can conduct the classes with
such platforms. After all this it has been evaluated that this new method of learning has both
positive and negative side, which needs to be resolved in order to maintain the efficiency of
online learning among the students (Nishonboyeva, and Abdurasulova, 2020).
Online learning basically distributed in distinct way, and with this it will become
easier to understand the concept in proper manner. Firstly, there is asynchronous learning, in
which there is no real classes, generally study material is being allotted to the students in the
form of assignment. But if there is any need of interaction then it could be conducted with the
help of discussion boards and blog posts, etc. Next one is synchronous learning, in this there
is tutor and students who have applied or enrolled for the classes. In this form of online
learning students are free to do conversation with the teachers and can solve their queries too.
Then there are hybrid courses which is about where institution provided the option to take

online as well as offline classes for the children and complete focus is on the effective means
of learning. Moreover, there some organization which are focusing on switching their overall
educational working to the online medium as it is cost effective and helps in gaining the mass
number of students. In this they will focus on preparing such plans by which students get
attracted and forced to enroll those courses which are offered by them. In addition to this,
major concentration on providing the such learning programs which are useful and
advantageous for the future of the students (Kozbakova, 2021). It will help them in getting
their desirable jobs and roles in well reputed companies. So, in this online learning has
distinct features by which it can support in the growth of youth and helps in building the
nation strong. Such activities should be promoted in the country as this is the current global
trends which is adopted by various universities of different nations.
Advantages of online learning-
Surely, there are some good consequences of applicability of online learning in different
educational organization and for the students too. A detailed discussion in respect to this
beneficial side of this new digital form of learning has been listed below-
 Distinct facility to provide study material- Unlike old method of study, where
teachers used to write on the blackboard and student write down the same in their note
books. Online learning helps in getting the varieties of features to teach their students,
such providing videos, images of notes or in the form of pdfs (Hwang, Wang, and Lai,
2021). It helps in reducing the situation of losing their useful content of study and
students can keep it with themselves for the longer period of time. In addition to this,
students can utilize all these matters which are provided by the teachers as when they
need it.
 Approachability of time and location- There are numbers of students who might not
be able to attend the regular classes in schools or universities. And in the pandemic
situation it has been become very difficult for almost every student. Here, online
learning has acted like a boon to all these students, because now they can easily
accessible. On the other hand, it eliminates the issue of timing, due to which students
were not attending the classes. Even, there are some learning programs at online
platforms where students are allowed to choose the timeline for their classes and join
it accordingly (Urokova, 2020).
 Budget friendly- The value for online learning is quite reasonable which could be
easily afforded by those students who belongs to moderate income group (HUI,

2021). This is like a support system for such families who are not able to handle the
expense of high school or universities faces and due to this they avoid to send their
children to schools or colleges. Apart from this, online learning will guide and
provide all the required study material to the students without charging any other
extra value.
 Ability to maintain the presence of students- This type of learning also assists in
making the all the students available at the time of classes. It increases the presence of
the children during the time of online teaching. By this, students can take all the
necessary topics and subjects which are being conducted by the teachers. Regular
attendance in the classes is important for both students as well as teachers, as it will
help in getting more involvement of them with functioning of the management. It will
also allow the authority to conduct some other activities with the interest, so that they
do not get bore during studies.
 Creative way of learning- Teachers can involve the different techniques with which
they can grab the attention of the students towards the better learning. Online learning
will also help in developing the other knowledge of the students, along with achieving
the technical knowledge to make these new methods more effective and innovative in
the learning process (Gordienko, 2021). Students get the opportunities through which
they can adopt their own personalized learning, such things give more ways to
embrace the mass education among the students in more appropriate way.
Disadvantages of online learning-
Many research has shown that there are few drawbacks of implementing the online
education in universities and colleges. Parents are also complaining about the changes in
behavior and less aware children about the study, which could be the result of online learning
and can be taken as it poor management form the management of educational institution
(Мусакулов, 2021).
 Difficulty to concentrate- During the pandemic situation, it has been seen that the
most of the students were facing difficulty to sit in the online classes for the longer
period of time. Not only this, students more often get distracted with the other social
media application which have been already installed in their own devices. In
university, students get learning environment which will support in doing their studies
in the most optimum way, but on the other side, in home it will become very difficult

to take care about all the topics which have been discussed in the online learning
(Dumford, and Miller, 2018).
 Technical complexities- Lack of internet connectivity and glitches in the devices are
few problems which are associated with the online learning. And there are some
students who live in some backward areas where there is no connection and facility of
new technology. This makes it tough for them to get access with all these new modes
of learning. With the exception of all these inconvenience in operating the devices and
loss of material due to some issues in the internal software of the devices which is
being used by them for taking the online classes.
 Feels like out of the way- It creates the feeling of getting isolated in single room and
make student far from their social life. This will lead to the burden and mis
management in their own life and can make it difficult for them to find out the new
ways through which they can increase their leaning procedure (Dinh, and Nguyen,
2020). It is very bad for anyone as students become more depressed and can face so
many health issued by the continuous sitting. It also affects the eyesight of the
individual and make them addictive towards this life where they like to spent their life
alone.
 Unawareness of teacher- Lack of knowledge among the teachers in respect to the
technological advancement which is being utilized by the management in the process
of online learning. These teaches are not known to the features and attributes which
are embraced in applications which have been developed by the educational authority
for the purpose of online learning. With the improvement and giving the proper
training to the teachers regarding this will help in building right teaching skills (Xu,
2021).
 Manage screen time- Last of all, it is needed to make a proper schedule about the
classes such as what will be time period for one class and facility of time break. It is
important to consider all these elements while taking decision about the online
learning programs. This will make it simple for the students to build the right timeline
to settle the well-designed class framework. Parents are quite worried about the long
screen timing which may cause various hazards to the students.
By looking at the evolution in the online study, various institution has start focusing own
developing their own learning platforms where they are issuing several training programs and
courses. This will assist in giving the right set of information to the people and it guide them

in making their career more effective and systematic. For example- Udemy is one of the
famous platforms where students can enroll themselves in various educational field as per
their requirement (Bolečková, 2020). But it is important to have the complete knowledge
about such tools and must have optimum control on the time and study schedule. Nowadays,
educational institution is partially open where students are allowed to come for the regular
classes in schools or can go for online classes too.
Reflection-
For preparing a good report it is important to concentrate over certain topics related to
the subject which I have taken for the discussion. Like deciding the timeline for each activity
which is required in this report. Preparing the details which are being stated in this more
specific and relevant. In this research, I have been seen that by evaluating the positive side of
the online learning, it gets clear that online learning could be great source of education
distribution channel. But the need is about the some improve which is required in this sector.
While researching about this report I have found that if universities or colleges will start
working in finding out the key reasons due to which this model of learning is getting failed
then it will be helpful in several different ways. But there are few points which were missed
by me while developing this report, I was not able to analyze the requirements of the
organization for generating the environment where students will take online learning serious
like traditional form of study. But talking about my personal experience from this research,
then it was quite interesting and knowledgeable as I have come in contact with so many
articles and people who has helped me well in the preparation of this report.
This research has also help in building different set of skills and abilities that will
definitely help in future for making such type of projects. It helps me in identifying this that I
am a very good communicator, as during this research many times I spoke to my class mates
and conducted discussion over these reports. At that I have found that, how effectively I was
able to depict my thoughts and views to them. It will also help me in growing as the good
listener, which has allowed me to take care about the words of other people and in what way I
can utilize their side of suggestion for the completion of this particular report. Many new
different and informative things which I had discovered in this research and the main thing is
that I was not aware about such kind of facts. It has also added on to the critical thinking
skill, which is necessary for every individual if he or she is working on any kind of research
activity. By getting these skills I will be able to more open towards the new things and
identify the areas in which it will help me in developing the more knowledge. This report also

enhances my ability to write on certain topic and supports me publishing my views or
thoughts to the people on particular subject. Overall, this research has given me the
opportunity to work on my certain skills and abilities. And if there are some weaknesses, then
present me the right tool to work towards improving such issues.
Doing research is like mind exercise where a person has to make sure that he is
utilizing his efforts to present the better piece of working. There are so many challenges
which have been faced by me and created so many complexities in completing this task is
relevant and credible sources that will support in giving me more specific components
regarding the online learning during pandemic time. Least availability of time has created so
many obstructions such as less detailed discuss over some bullets which could be represented
in more realistic and specific. The data on which this overall report is based is quite
differentiated with one another, due to which lots of time has been consumed in finding out
the correct piece of information for the completion of this report. In starting I have started
thinking on the reasons due to which such situation may arise in the education system which
leads to such kind of changes where students have to drop their old study model with
techniques. With this I have came to the point that each and every individual should keep
himself ready for facing such adverse situation in their own life. By creating the
diversification and dynamic behavior in ourselves, we can easily come over from such
situation.
But there are certain things which needs to be considered during this which is related
to right time of making decision. Like I have decided to write on this particular topic and the
reason for this choice is that it is the most current issue which is revolving in our life. It has
given me the opportunity to get aware about the changes which has been faced by the people
who are living in the different part of the world. But the area of discussion is quite limited as
the report is demanding the advantages or disadvantages of the online learning. It can be
expanded in more innovative which could include the response of the students towards this
new method of which has been adopted by their universities and educational institution.
Furthermore, it can also depict the changes which can be utilized for the better result of this
new learning medium. I have found that by making the new alternatives in this field,
education system can develop and attract students towards their learning program and this
will help in more informed youth. So, there are different aspects which have been taken as the
key objective while preparing this report and helps in developing the relevant issues which
are associated with online learning.

I have learned so many new things from this research report and will consider all this
in my future project. This report has guide me in identifying the characteristics which are
needed and possessed by the one who is working on such type of projects. But it is necessary
to outline all the problems which are faced by me in this report so as to eliminate them in my
research. It will help me in developing the truthfulness of my project and make it more
related with the outgoing situation on which I will write, which will support me in making it
more realistic.
Conclusion
In the conclusion of above given report, a detailed analysis has been conducted on the
online learning and its implication in the COVID period. In current situation, online learning
has substituted the old means of education system with the new learning criteria. But
everyone knows that introduction of new and innovative framework always come up with
some pros and cons. And with the help of this report a detailed discussed has been written
down over the challenges and advantages which have been experienced by the students and
their families during online learning. This report helps in identifying the sources which has
played a significant role in life of students and help them to carry on their education with the
assistance of different types of e- learning platform. Online learning has provided numerous
ways by which students can reach to their classes and give proper attention to their studies by
overcoming all such pandemic type obstructions.
