This paper sheds light on the sponsorship provided byNike in the sporting events of USA. The paper highlights the events in which Nike havemade its sponsorship available and the impact it has on the business and brand image of thecompany.About NikeNike is an American corporation that manufactures and designs footwear, sportsequipment, sportswear and other related accessories. Bill Bowerman and Phil Knightestablished the company in 1964. The headquarters of the company is situated in Oregon butthe company serves all around the world, providing sponsorships to various sportsorganisations and individual sportsperson via their agents. The revenue of the company isUS$34.35 billion as of 2017. This is largely due to the partnership it has made with the USAsporting department. Nike has volunteered itself to be the primary sponsor of sporting eventsacross the US (Nike.com 2018).Sponsorship of Nike in the USARecently, it has been seen that Nike has become the main sponsor for sportingactivities that are held in the USA.
