This article discusses person-centred care, therapeutic relationship, and patient safety and communication in healthcare settings. Person-centred care is delivered by implementing the notions of person-centeredness and personhood to provide authentic care to individuals. It focuses on the unique holistic requirements and demands of the patient and is delivered in alignment with the morals and principles of the clients. Therapeutic relationship and communication are important aspects of person-centred care. Patient safety is not merely restricted to physical security, but also comprises of emotional, cultural, and psychological safety. Effective communication with patients must be conducted in a comprehensive, precise, judicious and fitting manner.
