This research study aims to investigate the ways due to which parental separation can impact school engagement during middle school years and suggest effective strategies for improving school engagement among children witnessing parental separation during their middle school years. The research methodology includes a deductive approach, descriptive research design, primary data collection from the students and teachers of Campbell High School (Canberra), and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods. The research findings will help to identify the impact of parental separation on school engagement and suggest effective strategies to improve it.
