Overview of the activities
As mentioned in the previous parts of the work the organization is Brampton West
Mississauga Early year’s center. It under the much larger Child Development Resource
Connection Peel or CDRCP. The programs of the organization are focused towards helping
children of 6 years or below in need. The organization offers free programs that are focused on
promotion of interactions between caregivers and the children that are aged six years or lower.
Another significant part of the program is to ensure that the children get a fun place where their
various social, developmental and emotional needs and requirements can be met through exiting
means such as playing, exploring or reading. The programs also aim to address the individual
needs of the children that may be unique in some cases. The programs also provided a good
place for interactions between various families. Additionally, through the programs the
participants were provided guidance on parenting along with information about child
development and resources. Consultation services were also provided to parents who had
children with special care needs like behavior or speech problems.
