Argumentative discussion
Due to globalisation, most of the organisation’s developments in social, political,
technological and economic areas are crucially affected by communal lives of individuals
present within and outside workplace. Overall, communication between such groups can be
considered as backbone to organisation’s success and prime failures also. Since today’s
businesses are becoming more diverse and expanded, consistent communication barriers
seem to be affecting negatively in their growth path.
To stay profitable in this challenging and global economy, many organisations strive
to conduct business practices that aligns with their core strategies and communication to
conduct desired tasks within stipulated timeframe. However, various communication barrier
still remains challenging for most of the businesses that affects their overall business conduct
in negative manner. Some of the organisations communication barrier arises due to improper
planning and inefficient participation of employees thereby resulting in distortion of critical
information. (Angwin, Mellahi, Gomes, & Peter, 2014) claims that during mergers and
acquisitions, barrier to effective communication results in measuring one-sided objective and
selection of inappropriate media that further transmits A&M procedure with stakeholders
inappropriately. On the other hand, (Neill, 2018) argues that due to shift in faculty structure
and lack of clarity, change procedures within organisations are remarkably hampered even
though organisations hire best of change agents and supervisors.
(M, Foysol , & Adnan, 2017) claims that information technology has changed the
perception among contemporary organisations along with industry relationship between
employee and employers. However, any communication gap between them can create big
issue while understanding about authority and delegated job roles due to wide spans of
control seen in global organisations thereby causing breakdown of information. In fact,
