Project Overview and Description
Globex has requested Virtucon to undertake a project that will require the development of
an information system for the Training and Apprenticeship Program for High School Students
(TAHS). Globex has also requested Virtucon to ensure the system is able to accept and manage
student details and tracking of apprentices as well as updating skill requirements needed by the
industry.
Part One: MOV
1.1 Measurable Organisational Value
The expected MOV is to increase the total number of recruitments in the industry as well
as ensure more skilled and deserving students receive placement after the completion of their
academic careers.
1.2 Desired Area of Impact
In terms of importance, the areas are ranked as follows.
Areas Ranking Justification
Strategy The strategy is to ensure more skilled and
deserving placements in the industry
Operational Manual work will be replaced by efficient
automated system
Financial Operational costs will be reduced
Social Placement rates of the students will increase
Customer Globex will be benefitted from the project
