1 DISCUSSION Discussion post 1: Armstrong Institute at Johns Hopkins Bay-view mainly supports and strengthens the mission of elimination of the preventable harms and improves patient outcomes and experiences. It also helps in reduction of wastes in healthcare. This healthcare center had adopted a unique way that had impressed patients. Patient centered care dictates professionals to provide care that are unique to the needs of the patients and place them at the centre of decision-making. Effective communication ensuring respect and dignity satisfied patients besides safety and quality care. They had taken the help of technologies like tele-health, remote services, biosensors and many others. This had helped the professionals to remain connected with patients even after discharge and continue caring for them with empathy and compassion. The marketing team should promote this exceptional strategy of technology development for success of patient’s health outcomes and ensuring their satisfaction. This should be advertised by the organization, as it would help the older cohort of the population to get interested. Moreover, the patients who have been treated with this technology should be encouraged to share their experiences over a social media group that would be initiated by the marketing team. When new individuals will be able to learn about their experiences in the social media group about the technology based apps and tele-health services provided by this organization, they would also feel interested and this would help them to increase their profit margins by attracting more patients in the centre (Gruber et al., 2018).
2 DISCUSSION Discussion 2: The law helps in checking costs and obligations that are complying with applicable laws. They also ensure funds; properties and other assets are effectively guarded to prevent any waste, loss, mis-appropriation and unauthorized use. In this way, they can help in preventing frauds (Price, 2016). Discussion post 3: An electronic health record can be described as the digital version of paper chart of the patient. Studies consider them as real time, patient centered records that help in making information available instantly and securely for the authorized users. Such technology also provide access to the different evidence based tools that make providers use decisions about the care of the patient and accordingly help in providing high quality care (Fleischman et al. 2016). Telehealth helps professionals to provide care and services through the internet and reach the houses of people who live in remote areas who cannot reach the centers physically.
