Event Description
This is a program which focused on the awareness development among the cancer
patients of the King's College Hospital, Department of Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT
(Kch.nhs.uk, 2020). This program will be developed with the consideration of the awareness and
education development among the patients and the hospital staffs regarding the care and the self
management techniques. 20 participants will be provided with the knowledge and the awareness
about different safety and self management processes in the hospital settings of the radiology
department. It can be stated that the radiotherapy or the imaging techniques used in the radiology
department are useful and also harmful for the patients. Moreover, this awareness will also
effective for the knowledge development for the hospital personnel. In this context, it can be
found that the process of the care can be improved through this program. Hence, the awareness
regarding the safety management against the radiology instruments and also the radiotherapy
medications also will be provided to the patients of the department. The program will be
conducted for 3 days and each day the program will take up to 4 hours. Thus, it is a total of 12
