INTRODUCTION
Partnership working refers to promoting choice along with shared decision-making within
healthcare premises. This is by healthcare professionals for providing better and effective
healthcare treatment to their patient for improved health. It also provide an opportunity for
investigation, management, treatment and caring based on evidence for informed preferences.
Partnership working provides opportunity for a healthcare professional to promote health. This
practice reduces service gap and utilizes system to understand and access healthcare premises
within community. It also allows sharing ideas, workload, resources, key skills, information and
knowledge. It refers to a broad range of action where two or more than two group came together
for achieving common purpose. It is not necessary to participate 50-50, but there is contribution
majorly by division of power and financial responsibility for degree of spreading control. In this
report, there is discussion about key element of partnership working with colleagues, families,
individual and external organizations. There is also discussion about importance of partnership
working with families, individual, colleagues and external organizations. There is also a
discussion about how to overcome the barrier to partnership working. There is also information
about dealing with conflict which can occur due to partnership working. This report also consist
of enhancing partnership working along with their strength and weaknesses and ideas to improve
on practices. This report also consists of a review of effectiveness of partnership in working for
receiving agreed outcome (Macke, (2018)).

Key elements of partnership working with:
External organization
Sharing of resources- This can be highly benefit for both of the organization that they can
utilize each other resources like manpower and knowledge which can help to deliver health care
services to their patient.
Saving cost- This is one of the key element of partnership working which can help to
reduce the company cost of purchasing different machinery and other equipment which can be
required by organization. In such case there is no need to buy when partnership working with
other organization who have such type of machinery available. In such case there is no need to

purchase those machinery and utilization of that machinery can be maximum that can help to
reduce company cost (Czischke, (2018)).
Colleagues
Guidance- Any healthcare professional who have better information can guide another
healthcare professional for delivering better and effective healthcare treatment. This can be
possible due to partnership working with colleagues.
Helping each other while delivering healthcare services- Some time there is need to take
help of other healthcare professionals for delivering effective treatment. In such case, due to
partnership working delivering health care services can provide better impact on patient's health.
Teamwork- During partnership working, healthcare professionals can work with each
other in a team which can help to communicate easily and proper delivery of services can be
observe.
Individual
Collection of information- By partnership working with individual, there is need to get
the information related with patient health and which can be received by individual by
partnership working with it. Individuals can help healthcare professional by sharing information
about their medical history which can help healthcare professionals to decide for effective
delivery of healthcare treatment.
Involvement in treatment- This allows individual to decide their treatment and care
healthcare professional need to share such type of treatment and procedure with the individual.
This allows individual to decide on their treatment. This can help to get effective care from
healthcare professionals (Macke, (2018)).
Families
Proper care of patient- While partnership working with family, it allowed healthcare
professional to communicate with family for delivering effective healthcare treatment and also
help family to guide for delivery care for their patient.
Sharing information- Sharing information plays an important role while partnership
working with family. It allows healthcare professional to receive information related with patient
health in situation when the patient is not able to deliver their health-related information directly
to a healthcare professional.
