 What project do you plan to undertake?
Professional development refers to the learning to earn and maintain credentials of professional manner
such as academic degree to formal coursework, attending conferences etc. While an individual learns at
professional level and execute results at organisational level then it considered as experience at the
organisational level(Blair., 2016). The present report will cover discussion about a project which plans to be
undertaken and the reason of choosing the project. In addition to this , the report will cover analysis about
objectives and professional goals which needs to be achieved and also about project time line as well.
A project has been taken into consideration where a business plan has been developed for opening a restaurant. This particular project
has been chosen with this reason that it is my family dream to open a restaurant and run it into smoother manner by having lots of
customers. The aim of this restaurant is to increase its brand name at international level so that they can attract large scale of
investment and customers also take interest in terms of visiting the restaurant. There are certain skills which are required to run the
business into successful manner. These skills include communication skills, decision making skill, financial accounting skills,
understanding about international market, data analytics, negotiation skills, leadership and business management skills. These are the
main skills which are required to run a business into successful manner.
 Why have you chosen that project?

The main objective of this business is to provide qualitative products and services to their customers so that customers can retain for
longer period of time. I have set a timeline to reach at international level within five years. The other objectives of business to increase
the profitability, growth, stability ad efficiency as well(Wareham and et.al., 2018).
 What are the professional goals and objectives to be achieved? (You must set SMART goals/objectives).
To plan the business into effective manner, it is important that to create SMART goals. These goals help in terms of achieving results into
realistic manner. SMART basically stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound. By implementing at organisational
level, it is easier to set parameters and achieve it into realistic manner. When business is very specific in terms of delivering services then they
can attract customers on large scale and can also understand the market into appropriate manner. When time bound efforts has been made
then real results can be achieved into real life.
Objectives:
 To develop research skills in order to develop in professional aspect by reviewing various online journals in a span of 1 month.
 Enhance communication skill in order to share opinions and ideas with others in an effective manner and avoid miscommunication by
attending online webinars for 1 week.
 To develop critical thinking skills by evaluating various experiences of individuals in the field in a 2 months.
The above stated report concludes that professional development experience is very important at organisational level. It has been concluded
that for making a business plan it is important to have proper real life experience of market so that business plan can be made into effective
manner. When reason behind running the business is clear then it automatically runs into positive manner with appropriate efforts into
realistic manner. It is important to set SMART goals so that objectives can be achieved into successful manner. In this manner when
appropriate strategy has been framed out then success can be achieved into realistic manner.
