Review meeting aspect How competence was demonstrated
Preparation for the meeting The line manager prepared the meeting in a very effective manner by
stating the purpose of the meeting. He is focusing on the meeting to
review the performance of his employees and effectively telling about
his strategies which is necessary for the organization in order to achieve
its objectives with a great success. In this meeting he is discussing the
priorities which is very good and necessary for the employees who are
working for the organization and he is motivating the employees who are
under work. He is great with his communication skills to guide his
employees and as he has also a good leadership skills through he is
motivating their employees to work hard for the next coming months.
Ensuring a suitable
environment for the meeting
The line manager involves and put attention on each and every member
so that every member can be able to understand his concern about
performance review. He is creating a positive environment which is
influential to his employees. The manager ask questions to his
employees about their queries, problems which they are facing in the
organization and in their work. The environment is very transparent in
which he is trying to building trust among the team members that if he is
lies about anything or upholding any data he can lose his trust among the
employees. The line manager also creates participation and attendance of
employees in order to achieve his reviews of make discussion for their
betterment.
Putting candidate at ease and
establishing rapport
As per the observation of the meeting the line manager involves each
and every member and make them feel comfortable during his whole
meeting process. He is making them open and to communicate with the
team so that the meeting purpose can be fulfilled. In his way of
conducting meeting he is trying to introduce his real side to his
employees and politely welcome their employees. In the meeting he is
trying to comfortable their employees by asking questions, straight
forward and in a forth right manner. But some employees are hesitate to
discuss the issues because they are new to the organization and afraid of
reaction come from his team leader.
Opening the meeting As it is a formal meeting about the performance review of his employees
he started in a formal manner like he said “hello” to everyone and also
thank each and every one for coming at his short notice period and
appreciate all the members in the meeting for attending which is very
appreciable. Later he does not take any delay in the meeting and started
with the purpose of the meeting that is the performance review of his
employees who is working hard for his company and who is making low
efforts. By giving them proper feedback and honest review he is try to
ensures his employees that they are in a good team leadership who
makes to realize about mistakes or where they are lacking which is also
good to create transparency between team.
