INTRODUCTIONPerson and Family Centred Care is the approach for delivering, planning and evaluating healthcare which is grounded by mutual beneficial partnerships between patients, health care professional and families. It avails the relationship in healthcare by emphasizing on collaboratingwith all age individual in all settings for healthcare at all stages of care. Under this approach health care practitioners provide dignity and respect to their patient and family and share appropriate information to them.The above report shows that effect of family and culture on the adolescent behaviour. Report further carried forward with the impact of nurse on the adolescent including various measures like multidisciplinary collaboration, health promotions and related screening tools. Thereport ends with the personal beliefs and values and its implications on the person centred care for the adolescent.Part 1Impact of family and culture on drug use by adolescent.Adolescence is the stage of development OF A HUMAN LIFE CYCLE. . It is the stageof transformation from childhood to adulthood. There are various changes teens go throughwhich are social, physical and emotional changes. Teens from various backgrounds aredominated by several parental expectations and cultural norms which is the base of peculiarattitudes towards norms and values within society. Parents and culture plays a major role in thefoundation of building the identity, personality and health of the adolescent(Kogan, Wilber &Mosqueda, (2016). Culture strongly influence the behaviour, development and values & beliefs.Whereas Good communication and family rituals have a positive effect on the teens. Positivecultural beliefs and values by the parents helps the child in their academic success and help inraising their self-esteem. Somehow pressure by parents for focusing on academic and socialachievement can lead adolescents undergo through anxiety and high rate of depression. The teensof poor families can have more health problems and poor health status and less use of health careservices. They had to face several cultural difference also which can be due to their status(Keller, 2017). The major issues that is faced in the age of adolescence is regarding the drug use.
