Introduction
For each individual, it is crucial that they improvise their employability skills as this
assists within carrying out their responsibilities in precise manner and this will also assist in
development of efficacious along with successful career. In addition to this, personal as well as
professional development is important as it enables individuals within enhancement of their
abilities, performance and skills (Bennett-Levy, 2019). Employability skills illustrate set of skills
which are needed by person for having better opportunities thereby attain desired objectives in
effectual manner. The rationale behind this report is to acknowledge the employability along
with the study skills. This report comprises of a reflection and for this model will be utilized for
having relevant understanding.

Personal as well as professional development is regarded as strategy or process through
which knowledge, abilities and skills that will assist them within carrying out their
responsibilities in an efficacious manner as this furnish assistance within attaining objectives in
successful manner. It is important for each individual to formulate strategies for personal and
professional development as through this they can build up flourishing career (Carpenter and et.
al., 2019). With reference to personal & professional development, employability and study
skills are crucial as these aids within development of career in a successful and impressive
manner. In this context, there are various skills that are regarded as crucial that will assist within
accomplishment of project in adequate way. This comprises of communication skills (both
written and verbal), usage of information technology time & self-management, team work,
problem solving and research skills. For each individual it is crucial to improvise or formulate
skills that will assist within carrying out projects within enhanced way.
While carrying out this project that is associated with corporate social responsibility I
need to carry out analysis of abilities and skills. I am able to depict that there are some skills that
are illustrated like their strengths as well as there are some weaknesses that have to be
improvised. This will enable me to ensure that I am able to deliver my operations in an adequate

and precise manner in future. From all the abilities, my strengths comprises of communication
that involves both verbal along with written skills, problem solving capabilities and team work. I
came to know this, when I started working within the team I identified that I interacted or
communicated with team in an adequate manner through which I am able to make people
understand all the essential aspects that I want to share with others.
Furthermore, all the team members also appraised my skills that involved effective
communication with them (Guraya and Chen, 2019). Along with this, I am able to understand
what their feelings or problems that are being shared by them while working on the project. This
implies that I also possess relevant team working skills as I communicate appropriately with
members and also have suggestion or recommendations from them. In addition to this, I also
appraise them in case I like their opinions or perspectives on the topic. Furthermore, I also
understood the problems that are being faced by team members and rendered them with adequate
suggestions for handling them. I have a significant skill that enables team members to share
issues faced by them. As they believe that that I will furnish them with appropriate and
efficacious advices for resolution of problems in an enhanced manner.
In addition to this, there are certain aspects which are my weaknesses like usage of
information technology, time & self-management and research skills. They are my weaker
sections that I have acknowledged while gathering data or information associated with project.
While carrying out this project, I have analyzed that I cannot gather authenticated along with
adequate data related with this project. When we were working on presentation, I identified that I
do not have relevant information technology skills as I was not able to make presentations in a
relevant way and it took time for developing it. Because of this I did not made adequate
contribution within development of presentation work. Apart from this, I have also identified that
I do not have peculiar time along with self management skills as I cannot complete work within
time due to which I am not able to accomplish peculiar stage within specified time. By analyzing
as well as understanding weak points I decided to make improvisations and for this it is essential
to have some classes under guidance of professions as it will lead to enhancement within the
skills in relevant manner.
Along with this, I have decided to make use of certain theories as well as models for
having analysis of my experiences within entire projects like Kolb’s learning models, Gibbs

reflective model and there are many more. For this, I have utilized Gibbs reflective model that is
being formulated via Graham Gibbs, American Sociologist as well as Psychologist in 1988.
Basically, this is utilized by individuals for evaluation along with determination of experiences
associated with peculiar event, situation or project. This comprises of various phases that are
being liable for rendering assistance to individuals that enlist experience and learning that is
drawn via individuals over certain course of time while conducting business activities. The
stages involved within this model are illustrated below:
Description: It is related with furnishing overview of experience irrespective of they are
good or bad that is attained by an individual while implementation of peculiar activity
(McDonagh and et. al., 2019). With reference to this, I was given activity that was to be
conducted within group. For this, I was provided with responsibility of team leader and as per the
supervisor I was recognized due to enhanced communication as well as leadership skills. I was
able to illustrate all the roles along with responsibilities to CSR among team members according
to their expertise and interest areas.
Feelings: It lay down feelings that have been faced by individual when they implement
the project. With reference to CSR project, the responsibilities associated with team leader made
be nervous and conscious initially. But my strengths, they are written as well as verbal
communication assisted me to have coordination with team members.
Evaluation: This stage comprises of good as well as bad things associated with project
(Rockman, 2019). With reference to this, I have found that team working and communication
skills are handy with reference to coordination among team members of the group. In addition to
this, ICT is being utilized by me for collection of data from distinct sources for having wide
range of reliable as well as valid resources. The time management skill of team members enabled
us within submission of the project before the completion of deadline.
Conclusion: With reference to above illustrated stages, this phase illustrates implications.
Therefore, I can say that some of the skills are strong as well as are liable for supporting group
within carrying out projects precisely. Such kind of skills comprises of researching, leadership,
utilization of ICT, research, communication and time management. But sometime, inefficiencies
within problem solving abilities lead to certain problems while any kind of disputes occurred
among team members due to any certain reasons.

Action Plan: This phase within reflective model is liable for stipulation of measures that
are being taken by individuals for conducting identical activities or projects within course of time
(Weller, 2019). I have identified that problem solving skills possessed by me are not adequate
while carrying while carrying out group tasks. Therefore, I need to have adequate guidance and
support from supervisors with respect to ways in which this skill can be improvised. This will
enable me to complete the projects in future in better way.
By making use of Gibbs reflective model I was able to determine various ups and downs
related with my skills while working on a project. But the ups need to be polished so that in
future also they will assist me within completing the project. In addition to this, the weaknesses
that have been identified needs to be eliminated so that problems that are faced now do not occur
again. For this, it is necessary to have certain classes through which they can be attained.
Conclusion
From above it can be concluded that, it is important for each individual to take into
consideration personal along with professional development into consideration as it will lead
them to build up as well as maintain successful career. With respect to employability, study skills
have critical role as it enables to furnish the goals along with objectives in precise ways. This can
eb attained by acquisition of skills like communication, information technology, time
management, problem solving, team work and there are many more. As per goals individuals
need to identify essential aspects associated with their goals then identify those which they lack
and take adequate steps for developing them. Thus, it is crucial for each individual to build up
these skills through which they can attain success.
