INTRODUCTION
Leadership is both a research area and a practical skill encompassing the ability of an individual
or organization to "lead" or guide other individuals, teams, or entire organizations. This report
includes topics such as role of leader in the success of the company and the theory of leadership.

Gibbs reflective cycle
This model is described with the help of 6 stages. Personal experience of an user is stated
to understand this cycle. Mostly this model is used for repeated stages but sometimes it is
preferred for single stages also.
Description-
This aspect is concerned with the experience and difficulties faced by the individual that
is why experience will be highlighted in a detailed manner. For example- I had a assignment to
submit and the topic was on personal and professional development. Being a individual project
no team submission was allowed which forced me to go by it all by myself. I was overconfident
that I will be able to complete it in just one night but guess I was wrong as it is not an easy job.
The thing I did wrong was not to make a schedule of everything. This put me under a lot of
pressure from the night before I had to submit the project. In order to complete the project I
worked on it continuously without taking a break and cancelled all other plans.
Feelings-
This aspect of the model is concerned with the feelings of the individual while he was
working on the task and in what way it made a difference on it. For example before I found out
that I had to work on this project I was happy but the news of submission hit me pretty hard. I
wasted a lot of initial time as I didn’t took it seriously and when the date of submission was not
long then I realized what a big mistake I made to not follow up on it every day. I realized that at
this stage my work will be full of errors and no one will acknowledge it. While I was working on

it I was feeling frustrated and stressed that if or not I will be able to complete it on time. I
realized that it was my fault as if I had been more cautious from the beginning then this would
not have happened. Then I thought even thinking and feeling like this won’t help me as it was
only taking up my time so I started working on the task and completed it after completion I feel
relaxed.
Evaluation-
This aspect of model highlights those factors that worked out and which of them didn’t.
In order to make it successful work needs to be done with full concentration and no cheating
needs to be done, so that only the data that is accurate is posted in the report. Experience needs to
be remembered from both the point of view that is positive and negative. For example- the
positive side would be I completed my assignment and the work done was well enough. This
helped me to reach to a high level of motivation as I was wrong that I couldn’t do it. The
negative side of the experience was only that if I have started working on it from the beginning
stage then I wouldn’t have to go through this situation.
Analysis-
Last stage of the model was concerned with measures that are negative and positive but
this stage highlights the causes and reasons behind it. For example the reason behind the success
of my work was my teachers as they have passed on their knowledge to me in the class. Also I
learned that in order to reach success I need to feel motivated and work with confidence on the
task. I thought if I work in the end then I will complete it soon because of the deadline but that
did not happen it only created more and more stress. I learned that in order to avoid all the
negative outcomes of this experience I need to plan and follow every aspect of it.
Conclusion-
This aspect of model gives a conclusive state of the experience of the individual.
Everything that the individual came across and learned in the experience will be covered in this
aspect. For example I understood that it takes time to conduct the research and obtain the data for
the assignment and with proper research I can fix more appropriate and accurate data to it. Other

than this I need to improve the methods of my working and enhance my capabilities so that my
work can be done with more effective measures.
Action plan-
This aspect of model states that what steps will the individual take if the same thing
happens in the future. This stage individual can change his mistakes by planning with proper
schedule of doing the work. This way they will not commit the same mistake again. For example
I have learned that I will not continue with this suffering because next time I will be prepared
with everything from understanding the key aspects of the assignment and take out data with the
help of effective research. Other than this I will also try to change my habits and abilities so that
I can complete it before time.
Reflective Journal
Communication skills-
When I was working on the project it was required that I communicate effectively with
others in order to take out research. This has helped me to improve my skills of communication
on both verbal and written skills. This improved helped to me converse and engage in a
communication with people in a better way through which I was able to make an impression.
Other than this with the help of this experience I was able to draft the assignment without errors
so that reader have no problem in reading it. It is because of the improvement in my written
skills I was able to present my draft in such better way. This has helped me raised my confidence
to do another with more success ratio.
Research skills-
This experience has helped to explore new areas with new abilities and now I know how
to perceive the data and gain more knowledge through it. I have learned the sources that I can
rely on and take the information that is useful. This was not possible for me in the initial stage
but now I am confident that I can do it with the right methods. I conducted the research with the
help of questionnaire method so that I can get the latest and recent information. there are other
methods but I prefer this one the most. This way I was able to learn the methods of conducting
the research.

ICT-
It stands for information and communication technology. With the help of this aspect I
have been able to improve my skills which are related to literacy, numeracy, vocabulary etc.
other than this it also helped me to understand how important it is to coordinate with other
members of the team and cooperate with others so that work can be done together. This way
knowledge can be shared and errors can be reduced with the help of expertise of each other. This
way members of the team can learn new things and strategies of completing the task with each
other. This way I was able to look at other new opportunities.
Teamwork-
The rules for this assignment were not to work with team but secretly I took help from
my friends on many aspects. They taught me things such as analysis of the project and the way
of interpretation of the data. In order to be on the same page with others I had to work fast as I
was behind from many of them.
Time and self management-
I never cared for time and never made a plan or schedule for anything but after this
assignment I understood the importance of both the aspects and learned that one must not mess
with time. After this I learned that it is necessary to manage things according to the time so that
at the end of it I don’t have to work with pressure. This also helped me to complete the work by
taking decisions which were not under pressure which meant that it was effective. Now I never
miss the deadline and complete the work before the due date.
Problem solving skills-
These skills are useful I learned this when I was in problem because I started the work
very late. This aspect helped to overcome by giving me a boost of confidence and motivation.
These skills are useful as they help many people when they are suffering from fear and pressure.
This aspect helped me to understand in order to work stress free one must needs to focus only on
work and no other distractions which will help to make the work automatically easier.

CONCLUSION
From the above studies it has been summarized that due to the autonomy given by the company
to their employees they feel convenient in completing the task. Other than this they also feel that
the trust that the company is doing on them must not go in vain. Leadership qualities of the CEO
of the company has helped the company to achieve its success
