build human capital, an enhance the quality of life and the realisation of aspirations and
personal dreams while, Professional development refers to the improving and developing
skills 2 better meet the needs and demand of these students. Professional development Give it
contribution to the career development for an individual.

Description of professional field
• Marketing is one of the most important parts of an organisation that helps to aware people
about companies products and services. Marketers of the company identified the customers
who can ready to pay in the exchange for product and service. Marketers use various marketing
tools to advertise products in a target market and some of them are social media marketing, TV
advertisements, newspapers etc. They also search the potential market where company can
expand their business and identify needs and demand of the customers and according to that
company can develop their product and services. Marketers Also gave their contribution to the
other functions of the organisation such as HR, finance Department, production Department
etc. For example- Marketers helps finance Department to find out proper resources of finance
from the market, it is because marketers collect the whole necessary information about market
so they Can have good contracts with investors And finances as well. They can provide this
useful information to the finance team so they can borrow funds to run company effectively.

Career planning
I want to make my career in a marketing FieldAnd my dream is to work phone and
multinational company like hotel Hilton. to begin my career as a marketing manager I
need to complete my graduation from reputed Institute from the UK. I also have work
experience and I was working with the professional marketing team who used to run
day-to-day activities for company. I choose this job as a Carrier because I have enough
skills and competences that can help me to create my career professionally. My life goal
is to work on the multinational companies marketing department and I want to control
all the marketing activities over there. Marketing manager of the company is
Responsible to control and measure all the marketing activities within their company.

• to become a marketing manager I need to improve some of the Skills in myself such as
effective communication skills, time management skills and decision-making skills.
improvement in all this competences and skills will help me too develop my career and I will
able to become a marketing manager of an international company. Some of the additional
competence is like targeting, gaining a knowledge of new marketing technologies, measuring
tool , an engagement with customers will help me to develop my career as a professional And
I will be able to become a professional marketing manager.

Career map
• To begin my career as a marketer first of all I will complete my graduation and degrees in a
marketing which is necessary for the career development. In the beginning I will start with
management trainee where I will provide training to employees after that my next step will be
assistant marketing manager. It is also an important role within marketing where I have to
assist the marketing manager and follow the guidance given by the senior manager. Next step
will be marketing manager where I will work under the senior manager of the company I will
monitor and measure all the marketing activities an it will require a knowledge of all the
marketing tools and activities. Another step senior marketing manager here I have to
implement and recommend marketing programmes, marketing campaigns of the companies
product and services. My next target will be to achieve cheap marketing officer position
within a company.

Competences and qualities
• I had some competences and qualities that will help me to achieve my career dream. one of
them is an ability to understand buyers needs an and the process of selling products which is
important competency and quality of the marketers and that will help me too get positions like
management trainees an assistant marketing managers. another competency in myself is that
I’m having good annalistic skills and I can find the result bye watching the graphs and data.
This competency and knowledge will help me too get the senior manager and managers post
within the company and I will able go to word my next step of career path. One of the most
important competency in myself is I can able to communicate with the people clearly and
Effectively. it is necessary to have effective communication skills in a top positions within a
company. I am able to communicate with the people and make them understand the
information easily and this will help me to develop my career successfully.

Challenges in career path
– To achieve a success in oh career planning I have to go through some possible challenges like Communication, And
uncertainty after the promotion.
– Communication challenges- communication can be major problem if I am working in our international market because
it's not easy if we are trying to communicate with the persons who speak another language. it can first rating for the
both parties. My communication competency can help me to communicate and I can also use translator to communicate
with the people or I can hire people who can translate for me.

• Uncertain after promotion- When individuals are promoted to the higher position within the
organisation, it's not possible for them to know What success looks like and feel likes. My
competency to take career advice can help me in this situation an I can overcome from the
uncertainty. I will take the advice from the superiors and try to understand my responsibilities
and my work Ann I know that higher position means higher responsibility.

• From the above study it has been summarized that Personal and professional development also
help in a career development for individual. This report has been prepared a career plan it
marketing by describing this field and discussing about the career planning. It Also has been
identified the competences and qualities that can help in career planning. This report has been
analysed the challenges within career planning and it will include the competences that that
can help to overcome from challenges. Another part of the project has been evaluated Gibbs
model of reflection and writer a reflection on personal experience, discussing about future
goals in the context of career.
