INTRODUCTION
The Higher Education (HE) is an type of education which is being given in post-
secondary institutions for learning the advanced concepts about the chosen subject. Evaluation
on the appropriate skills which are being required for being an HE learner is being done in this
report. With that analysis on the significance of the skills in terms of achieving higher academic
targets is also being evaluated within the report.
MAIN BODY
Skills required by Higher education learner-
Skills needed to be HE learner- A HE learner like me need to have a proper understanding about
the basic academic concepts, through which it tends to make sure that it is able to develop a
proper base for learning new concepts by which overall learning process can be improved. Due
to which HE learner like me is having a critical thinking by which it can evaluate the pros and
corns of an activity then take appropriate step for achieve the desired target (Irons, 2017).
Importance of skills- The higher education learner need to perform several activities which
include activities which include activities like project development and many more. Due to
which I need to have a detailed understanding about the core concept by which it can achieve
higher academic targets.
Development of HE skills- In order to develop HE skills I have to identify the academic
requirements then on that bases tend to develop working process in such a way that I am able to
accomplish the target. For achieving this I have to improve my reading skill by which I can
acquire learning of new concepts which I can integrate within my performance stage. Through
this approach I can make sure that I am having adequate amount of knowledge by which I can
accomplish desired academic target.
Team working skill- As being a higher education student I often have to work within the group
for the accomplishment of the desired target. Due to which I need to develop proper skills by
which I can make appropriate changed within my working as per the team requirements by
which my contribution within the group activities can be increased (Lomer, Papatsiba and
Naidoo, 2018).
Communication- As being an HE learner I have to make sure that I am able to resolve the issues
which I am having in order to proper understand the core concepts. Thus for achieving this I
