INTRODUCTION
Personal and Professional development is the process through of increase the skills and
knowledge among the employees. (Dang and Sangganjanavanich, 2015) Further the organization
and person engage in the process of learning. Its plan is the process or managing and increase
personal ability through different training and learning program. The main aim of personal and
professional development plan is that it is help to learn and develop your skills, knowledge, and
ability in your career. In this report, Harrods of London is a British institution is considered. It is
well known retail store in the world for last 162 years.
The report will highlight the personal skill audit in the context of role responsibility and
performance of the Harrods employees. Furthermore, the report will highlight and analyze the
interpersonal and transferable skills of employees. It also examines different techniques and tools
to increase these skills. Moreover, it will highlight personal swot analysis of employee to identify
strengths and weaknesses. It will also describe the using appropriate proforma, carry out your
personal appraisal within your firm. also, there is implementation of a personal and professional
development plan of employees.

Personal role and responsibility
Employee is the main assets of every organizational (Filipe, Golnik. and Mack, 2018).
The main role and responsibility of the employees is that they maintain the good relationship and
goof working culture in the organization. So There are some responsibility of the employees that
helps to make better performance of the company.
Maintain discipline
As an employee of the Harrods, I have responsibility of make proper discipline in the
work place that I am only concentrate on my work and achieve the objective of the company. So
I am make sure that I can maintain the proper discipline that I have achieved my goal. When I
am maintaining the discipline to creates the positive impact of my own performance. That I have
increase my performance of work and complete my work on timely.

As a worker, I have responsibility that I am followed all rules and regulation of the
Harrods. In addition, I follow all rules and regulation of the company for example i have
complete my working hours. I act as accordance with the firm policies, strategy, rules,
regulations etc. that is applicable in any situation of work time. So that I managing and conduct
the job responsibility in my behavior which contribute the Harrods to operating effectiveness and
increase productivity.
Maintain good relationship
As a worker, of the company I mange all the work on time also I maintain the good
relationship with my other colleagues and supervisor. In addition, the main role as a worker of
the Harrods I maintain the good relationship with all the team members as well as my leaders.
Further I am also connected with my manager share ideas among team members also share the
problems to the leaders to resolve problems and get better solutions. So as I am maintained the
good relationship with others which helps to my performance of the work because they provide
the best guidance to me for expand my future growth.
Time management
As an employee of the Harrods institution, I take responsibility of managing the time that
I have increase my work performance to manage time according to my responsibility of work.
Further, I am not much proper managing the time according to the work so that I need some
training of managing time. So time management is the key role that I am managing in my career
of work. This is also benefited for the company as well. Moreover, Because all the employee
doing work properly which leads and increasing more productivity of the Harrods institution.
Fair work
Fair work is the main responsibility of the employees that they manage their work
accordance their ability of work. As an employee of the Harrods institution. I also manage all the
work according to the criteria of work bu there are some issues related the work I cannot proper
understand the work that increase feedback of my work so I need training for improve my work.
As I did my work in fairly way, and all problem when I am facing during a period of work I can
consult with my leaders and coordinators. In addition, when I am Doing work proper that is

each other points to makes the best solution and provide equal opportunity to the employees.

Time management is the best skill to mange all the problem and manage the work
according with the priorities of work. So to improve this skill uses the various tools and
techniques to manage and develop this skill. For example, managing time properly. so firstly set

2015). Furthermore, set the priorities of work according with the time also provide the training to
the employees to improve the time management skills. So this all activities is improving the time
management skills among the employees.

Problem solving is also the best skill to improve the work performance of the employees.
This is the main ability which describe the confidence among the employees, For improve the
skill of problem solving uses the different techniques to improve the skills (Alawadhi, 2015).
Solving the difficult numerical assignments and projects to increase the skill and also reading the
question loudly to better understanding, consider every information to makes better knowledge
and help to solve the difficult problem. Share the ideas to the supervisors and leaders to
provides the best guidance for solving the difficult problems. To enhance the problem solving
skills so attend the different training and learning programme also, makes proper notes to better
understanding. Furthermore, this all techniques help to increase the ability of problem solving in
the employees.
