INTRODUCTIONPersonal development of an individual is the most important thing that needs to bemanaged in an effective manner. There are many methods and models which are given byvarious researcher as to assist people in finding out their level of competency. It enablesindividuals in identifying required level of skills and also aid in setting a path that will lead themto the desired level of competence (Hallam, 2010). In this report it will be determined as how aperson can identify his developmental needs and also ways which can be used to achieveindividual as well as organisational goals effectively. TASK 11.1 Identify own learning styleIt is very important for a person to identify his own way of learning. There are certainmodels which can be used for determining the style which is suited for me. The methods arestated below:Kolb learning model: This is the most used technique that assist in identifying variouslearning styles that are suitable for individual. This is a model that is purely focused onexperiments that can be conducted for aiding individual in identifying his method ofadaptation of learning (Zimmerman and Labuhn, 2012). There are four types of styleswhich are used by individual and as believed by Kolb that no person can learn things onone axis, that is why he is always on two. 1

The four learning learning style are as stated below:Diverging: Different perspective is used for looking at things as to understand them in aproper manner. Assimilating: These are the individuals who prefer logical, concise approach for handlingdifferent situations (Peacock and et. al., 2010). Converging: These type of people use technical tools and experience as a approach to sortthings out more effectively. Accommodating: These are the people who are totally reliant on their intuition andinstincts instead of logic.
