INTRODUCTION
• The employability and personal development means skills
and attitude of the employee. These are qualification that
fulfil the requirement of the company. Employability skills
means skills that make a person capable to become a
potential employee (Gorman and Pauleen, 2016).

• Employability is related to the particular set of knowledge
and skills that assets and person to become employee of
the company. The personal skills mean skills that a person
a carry with them, these skills can be communication
skills, leadership skills and even flexibility skills. In this
report we will discuss the self assessment and provide the
strength and weakness analysis of ourself.
• This report will cover impact of COVID-19 on the
accounting of the company.

Personal SWOT analysis:
• SWOT Analysis help me to identify the strength and
weakness of my personal skills.
• Strength: I have the various strengths that help me to be
more effective. My strength lies in communication skills
that help me to communicated with the others effectively.
It is very important to have communication skill because
unlock various doors in career (Guilbert, et.al., 2016).

• ). Every organization only look for someone who have great
communication skills and I personally feel my communication skills are
very effective. I also carry leadership skill that help me to manage
myself and others.

effective communication, lack of communication can lead me to serious

• Weakness: the weakness of mine is that I am not an
active listener, this is the biggest weakness which bring
down my other skills. Actively listening to other is very
important because if the person is not listening then there
is no sense of communication with them.

Personal Weakness
• I deliver my part of communication effectively but bad at
listening to other's word. Another weakness that I have is,
I cannot get comfortable with new environment.
Sometimes it is difficult for me to get comfortable with
new people but my communication skills and activeness
help me to get normal with the people.
• inactive listening weakness is very problematic to manage
the accounting of the firm, as I am applying in the field of
accounting, I need to actively listen to my team and other
part of the organization.

Opportunities
• Opportunities: there are certain opportunities in the
market that require skills that I carry. It is best for me to
identify all such opportunities such as communication
skills. Some organization only look for person who have
effective communication skills

Personal Opportunities
• They demand impact of words on the customer (Ressia,
2016). So it is the best opportunity for me to apply in such
company. There are various opportunities for someone
who have leadership skills and have ability to manage an
organization. Leadership quality of mine will help me find
suitable job.
• for the person who have effective communication skills,
managing the accountants of the firm will be easy. My
communication skills have unlocked various doors for me
to apply in the account part of the company.

Threats
• Threats: as I mentioned above, I am not an active listener
which create various problem for me. When a person do
not effectively listen to someone, certain problem rise in
the communication which creates misunderstanding. Not
everyone but someone will going to have same leadership
skills as I have which create competition in the
organization.
• many my friends also have the communication skills which
allowing them to get the desired job. My College and
friends are giving me competition as they all are applying
in accounting part of the firm.

Accountant of the firm
• I am applying for the accounting job in the company and The above
personal SWOT analysis help me to examine my strength and
weakness, as I am studying the accountancy, analysing various strength
is very important in the field of accounting. Managing the accounts of
the company is not an easy task, it required capabilities of handling
each and every transaction within the organization. I am fulfilled aware
about the pressure I am going to get while managing the accounts,
keeping records means having the accurate data of every transaction
which include; salary and wages, income and expenditure, profit and
loss statement and many other part of the company.

• The impact of the COVID-19 is still very powerful in the
market and businesses still are in danger of ending up.
Many organizations have unable to manage their
accounting and financial report, they have huge losses
because of the impact. Every business have faced huge
losses which effect the accounting of the business.
• . This pandemic effected financial market of every country
badly, hospitality industry have faced the heaviest impact,
this brings down the overall revenue of the hospitality
organization.

Impact
• Due to lock down, many businesses is unable to keep the
record of their financial report maintained, which now
creating huge problem for them to identify each and every
segment of the report.

Impact of COVID on the
economic:
• The impact of COVID was very powerful on every part of
the company, the economics of the company means
concept of scarcity of resources, product factors, raw
material factors and distribution factor. This pandemic
effect every part and slow down the growth of the
organization. As a accountant I need to analyse the
accounting part of the firm and try to improve the
accounting after the impact.

Responsibilities of accountant:
• Accountant have various responsibilities to manage the
financial stage of the organization and to make the
payment and other finance related thing stable. Graduated
in accounts field build the knowledge to manage the
accounting of the firm which was impacted by the COVID-
19. Core responsibilities as an accountant are:

• Preparing accounts: as a graduated accountant, it is the
responsibility (Gorman, G.E. and Pauleen, D.J., 2016) of
mine to prepare financial report of the company and try to
make the financial structure stable. Monitoring the
spending and managing the budget is crucial part for an
accountant which require specific skills and knowledge.

Numerical knowledge
• Numerical knowledge: knowledge of numeric is very
important for an accountant, the fast calculation plays an
important role. Apart from using calculator, the
accountant must know how to calculate numeric verbally
or using paper.
• My accountant knowledge is best for accountant vacancy
of the company.

CONCLUSION
• In this report we have discussed the personal
development and employability. Personal development
means how an person's personal skills help them to get
the desired job. Personal skills can be communication
skills or leadership skill which is very important to get job
