INTRODUCTION
Personal development is termed as the lifelong process that will involve the various sort of
the actions that will support the person to improve knowledge, abilities and prospective that
enables them to increase employability and superiority of life. As there are various formal and
informal actions that will help the person to enhance their abilities. On the other hand, the
training helps the methods, tools, techniques to help the person for its development at various
individual level of management. Various academic skills will help the person to become capable
learner as effectively (Shamsieva, 2020). Personal development and skills will create confidence
in the person and help them to take part in viable actions as without any hesitation in
management. As there are proper planning and approaches that are executed to involve the
suitable plan of actions that are based on standards, awareness, targets and ethics in particular
field of areas. In this report the manner of the personal and professional development in term of
short, medium and long term goals are deliberated. As from the personal development plan and
position of purposes in personal and professional development in term of the person that is being
covered in this report.
TASK 1
Personal and professional development
Personal and professional development is termed as the procedure that enables the person
and management to involve in knowledge action in respect to lift all the challenges and increase
necessary targets and aims in an effective manner. As there are several abilities and skills like
leadership skills, time management, effective presentation and stress management that helps the
person in achieving the personal and professional targets and aim. Personal development is
termed as the procedure of determining abilities and awareness of the person in an efficient
manner with the aim of improving the quality of life (Torkos, and Pasinszky, 2020).
Development of personal abilities will help in realising the targets and aims by creating and
execute the suitable growth manner that include the comparative career field like education and
job. The personal development will increase the manner of potential and capabilities to phrase
the manner of life. Personal development plans are settled as after considering the set of the
current abilities and as per to the future desires to attain the necessary targets.

Professional development is related to create the various phrased abilities and sense of
knowledge that will enables the manner to achieve necessary professional targets that are related
to the work place with full term of values. It has been consider and evaluate that the field of areas
that need to be enhance. Growth of professional abilities in the organisation that will leads the
person to increase necessary success and development in career for the longer period of period.
As these abilities that are related to several sections like counselling and provide coaching and
training to workers in respect to improve the required abilities as per to the job role (Inomova,
2020). Management will provide the suitable training and growth packages in respect to achieve
all the targets and aims of employees with respective management.
Short term goals and three examples
Short term goals are termed as the goal or targets that mannered the individual to realise in
near future. Setting of targets is an essential task to realise them in specific period of the time
with having effectiveness and efficiency. Short term goals are also mannered as the short period
and duration of the targets as there are short period of the time. It has been decided to achieve
them in the period or less than it. By successfully achievement of such targets and aims to
improve the terms of values and the viable section in the person and it will increase the
prospective in respect to achieve long term goals as effectively. Short term targets phrase the
manner as in between the present state of condition with an appropriate further results and it will
provide the particular course of field to achieve the ultimate result in an efficient manner. As
there are various short terms goals that are definite by the person as per to their absolute goals.
Examples of short-term goals
Develop time management skills to maintain the time skill for respective task in an
efficient manner to increase the successful result section.
Develop several interpersonal skills like communication, leadership and team spirit.
Minimisation of work burden and worry to contend the definite duty in an efficient
manner.
Medium term goals and three personal examples
Medium term goals are termed as the definite set of the goals and targets that are realised or
attained in time period of 18 months to three months (Madikhanova, 2020). As these targets are
realised after the short term targets that are attained in consecutive way and an appropriate
achievement of these short targets as well as long term targets that will enables the person to
