less time. Individuals who focus on short-term goals are the ones who wants to achieve the
ultimate goals and short-term goals are the step towards achieving the ultimate goal. Short-term
goals are set when the individual is planning to achieve the goal for the long term and short-term
goals helps in achieving the long term goal in small small steps so that the individual doesn't
panic and the pressure will be less on the individual. Short-term goals are considered as the start
of the ultimate goal and it is considered as the basic which individual have to reach first in order
to get to the final goal. The short term goals should be specific and individual should know what
he or she wants to achieve, secondly the short-term goals should be reliable meaning individual
should know it's potential and the goals should be designed in such a way that can easily
achieved by the individual. Individual should set their short-term goals according to the need and
make sure that the every goal should be achieved effectively and efficiently. Individual have to
track the progress of their goals on daily basis as it would help individual in understanding the
needs and it also helps individual in analysing it's own skills and strengths.
