INTRODUCTION
Personal development plan is effective process by which individual can increase the chance
of growth and enhancement of career. Through this process it develop action plan that is
associated with value, awareness, goal objective, refection and leads towards personal
development as well as professional one (Andersen, 2019). This report aims towards personal
development portfolio along with self reflection. It also combines of personal development plan.
TASK 1
Personal development portfolio
The personal development portfolio deliver strategy in such organised way and structured
way so that individual can enhance their career, own learning ability, achievement, performance
(Amiot, 2017). The portfolio of personal development prepared appropriate plan for the
development of personal, career and education. The personal development portfolio can be
drawn with the with the following completion of step are –
 Setting goals- First of all setting goal, aim or objective for personal development
portfolio is essential.
 Prioritise goal- While setting goal then it is important for prioritisation all activity
as well as task that will leads towards enhancement of professional and personal
growth.
 Setting deadline- After that establishing deadline for what an individual want to
accomplish or fulfil in its personal life. This will clear vision and mission of the
individual for personal growth,
 Identify threat and opportunity- In this stage individual need to recognise its
strength, weakness so that it can easily grab the opportunity for career enhancement
and personal growth.
 Develop skill- As per goal of personal and professional career, individual need to
upgrade its skill, knowledge and ability so that it can easily accomplish its
predetermine target. It will increase individual competence and easily remove its
weakness. Knowledge and skill can be enhanced by attending lectures, seminars,
reading book etc.
