1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development, and the transferable
skills
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal learning and development
It is very important for an individual to reflect on the personal development. The personal
development and learning is defined as the various activities and task performed in order to
improve the performance and enhance the talent within the academic learning or workplace. It is
very important for an individual to engage themselves in activities which help in self
development. The personal development is important in order to achieve success and growth. In
the academic learning the personal development takes place where an individual is able to
develop various skills and abilities in order to perform the task in an effective and efficient
manner. The various approaches within the academic have helped me in various aspect where I
was able to develop self confidence in expressing myself and this has enhanced my ability to
perform better. The personal development have helped me in taking the right decisions and also
improving over the other skills. This has encourages me to achieve better in personal and
professional life. I have attended various counselling sessions in order to develop my confidence
and analyse the skills which I have in order to perform task effectively. I was able to enhance on
the various skills such as communication, leadership, interpersonal skills which have helped in in
my learning and development. The personal development process helps in knowing the key
aspects which need to be improved in order to be effective learner. This also helps in adding
value to the individual in the personal life in order to make the right decisions. The personal
development is the important process in the life of an individual in order to develop the career in
an effective way. This plays a major role in developing the personalty and mindset of an
individual to perform the various activities.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed by attending this
module.
There are various skills which I was able to develop by attending this module. It is very
important for me to develop certain skills in order to perform better and in effective manner. The
various skills are discussed below; Listening skill- This is the skill which I was able to develop during this module. The
listening skill is related to the aspect in which I was able to listen to my professor in an

effective way where I was able to perform task in effective way. It is very important for
to develop this skill so that there is no mistake of doing the task in wrong way. i was able
to ficus on the instruction provided by my tutor for performing the task.
 Information technology skills- This was the skill which I was able to develop during my
academic learning. It is very important for me to develop the information technology in
order to be effective and efficient while performing the different task. The information
technology skills was developed by completing the assignments and projects within the
computer. I was able to understand how to divide the task and perform over the computer
effectively. Also I was able to make notes in effective way. The information technology
helped me in maintaining the notes which I can further use in order to learn in an
effective way.s

There are various skills which I need to develop during the academic studies in order to
be effective and efficient learner. Some of the skills are discussed below: Communication skills- This is the most important skill in order to be effective learner
within the academic and personal life. The communication skills is related to the way of
communicating and writing in an effective manner. I need to develop this skill so that I
can understand the perspective of other and can communicate my thought process to
other people effectively.
 Research skills- This is another important skill which need to be developed by me during
the academic learning. It is very important for me to conduct the better research so that
the matter and the content is correct. In order to analyse and identify the various aspect an
individual need to develop research skill so that the problem can be solved in an effective
way. It is very important to develop this skill in order to conduct the research effectively.
