Introduction
Learning plays a key role in life of the students. It is necessary that all the
students understand the importance of learning and work properly. There are
different learning styles being observed in students (Pugh and Broome, 2020). The
teacher must know the preference of students and help them to learn. The
transferable skills that are being developed at the time of doing the module are
mentioned. The skills being developed at the time of academic studies are also
important part of this report. Action plan is also made in the end so that the ways to
enhance the skills are identified.
1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and development,
and the transferable skills
It is necessary to take proper care of personal learning. It helps in overall
development of the students. It is important to be focused in the class. Transferable
skills are the one that are used at different points of life and help to get employment
opportunity. It includes communication skills, time management skills, problem
solving skills etc.
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
Personal learning and development plays a key role in life of every individual. It
seemed that a person learns from each and every experience that goes on in their
life. It is necessary to attend growth and lessons from the experience so that overall
development of the student is done (Mantzourani and et.al., 2021). It is one of the
approach that must be known by the person.
In relation to my learning approach, I first of all conduct my SWOT analysis so
that I am able to know about the skills that I am good at. It is seen that by knowing
about the weakness a person is able to know the areas that they have to develop.
There is need of improvement at regular basis so that one can take lead in the
competitive environment. Everyone has their own skill set and their own ways of
learning that help them to enhance their skill set. That I am able to prepare good
notes that help me to revise the terms in future. But on the other side I am a lazy
person in unable to follow time table. By not completing the work on time I am

always get less marks. It is seen that to get rid of all this issue I form action plan that
helped me to develop my skills.
There are circumstances where we get failure. But I have understood that getting
negative in demotivated from failures gives nothing to. on the other side the best
option is to learn from the failures and enhance the skills. The failure gives good
lessons. A successful person is one who knows about self in an effective manner. I
always worked on my strength so that I can improve them more. By making my
strengths more powerful I am able to enhance my confidence level and perform
better than ever before. I have analysed that confidence help to complete all the task
assigned to us in proper manner.
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
Transferable skills are all those skills that have multiple purposes. Which
means by developing the transferable skills what is able to carry on various activities
in an effective manner. It includes communication creativity time management
problem solving skills (Howard and Eddy‐Imishue, 2020). To get a good job at the
present time there is requirement of all the skill so that it an individual is able to fit on
various roles. The business environment is dynamic and there is requirement of
people who have multitasking skills so that they are able to deal with every situation.
the uncertainty is enhancing and due to this having good skills necessary. At the
time of attending the module am able to understand the importance of transferable
skills and have developed my writing skills that helps me in future. I am also able to
enhance my communication skills that will help to interact with others and make me
feel confident. By attending the module with focus and dedication the knowledge is
developed and that is necessary at the time of interview at in future. There is
requirement of good time management skills as all the activities that are assigned at
the time of job must be completed within time. I have learnt this by carrying on the
task and activities assigned to us at the time of University. The deadlines are given
and we have to complete the work in the given deadline so that there is no problem
in the end (Albrecht, Moscardo and Dwyer, 2021). I am able to understand that there
is need to develop all the skills that the maintenance in teachers say because they

are all helpful for future. A person must analyses the requirement of the skills in them
and follow actions so that they are able to improve the same and get a good job.
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
It is important to identify the skills that will be necessary in personal life as well
as professional life. It is seen that these skills are developed at the time of academic
studies and once develop their help at each and every level. First of all, I am thankful
that I am good at writing skills to same will help me in future as wireless in personal
life also (Hildebrand, 2018). By completing the assignments, I am able to enhance
my writing skills. At the same time there is need of conducting research skills at the
time of assignments. The same will also assist me in professional life when I will be
given the projects related to company. The major skill that is required in each and
every person is communication skills. Communication skill will help me to get a good
job to build networks to build relations with my colleagues and to perform effectively
at each and every stage (Jansen and et.al., 2021). At the same time, there is
requirement of digital skills because the digitalization is taking over the traditional
form of working.
