1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
Personal and professional development includes the various skills for the
purpose to gain the desire job role and position in the organisation. The process of

personal development includes the knowledge of operation in the proper
management, interested field, planning of time, proper management for the main
objective of achieving the organisation aims and targets. In this report it involves the
skills and competencies which are essential against the organization and
professional standard of the company as well the production of the action plan and
learning logs for the purpose to develop these skills in the next 12 months and
moreover it includes the personal development plan and a CV. Through personal
learning it helps in managing the needs and requirements for the objective to gain
position in the organisation and also improvement of the set of skills. The personal
learning can be applied to the individuals and goals which could be achieved through
personal and professional development(Weber and Achtenhagen, 2019).
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
Self learning basically includes approaches which help the
manager to control, pace and procedure the content of their learning
related to the personal development. The transferable skills involves the
skills which are used in the various roles and occupations that includes
communication, self control and problem solving skills. In order for me to
fit in the desired job role, there are various transferable skills which I
need to develop during my modules which involves:
Technical skills: In order to survive in the desired role or category it is
very important for me to improve my technical skills. It basically involves
the information or data of a certain field which involves the knowledge of
various fields, electronic computer, manufacturing, social science
etc(Succi and Canovi, 2020).
Communication skills: Through my entire experience I realized that I
was lacking in my communication skills. Communication is basically the
process of transfer and share of information from one individual to
another. It involves the process of conversion of idea into words. It
includes displaying skills, effective learning, spoken arrangement and
questioning frequently.
Conceptual skills: It basically involves the usage of content for the
purpose of resolving various industry problems for the betterment of the
organisation and to resolve the industry problems. These are basically
the skills that will help me in conceptualizing, identifying and solving
intricate problems.

1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
For the purpose to identify the various needs is basically a major task and
major development opportunities includes the goal settings. Through setting of
objectives would be able to develop a few skills in order to develop my academic
skills in the personal life and workplace. Below are the skills I would like to develop
during my workplace, personal life and academic skills(Chomphookarwin, 2021).
Professional skills: In order to survive in a competitive environment and fit into a
specific job role I need to build my professional skills which basically includes the
practice and learning of the academic skills that majorly help in building the
professional capabilities into personal attitude and behavior. The development of
professional skills highly depends upon the individual attention and individual
contribution. The main objective of learning is to secure employment in the future.
With the helps of high quality and standardization it becomes easy for me to
develop the communication abilities in the person within the business fields and also
helps in developing the professional skills in the communication fields. With the help
of self evaluation, I could analyze various skills against the professional standard of
the manager. In addition to that self evaluation helps me in motivating the staff and
utilization of the resources for management of time according to the day operations
(Irby and O'sullivan, 2018).
